If our pitchers are on, this team is some kind of tough to beat. Fun times.

I find these pitching duels as entertaining and riveting as any game.

Character and confidence move by Schneider, leaving Bassit in to finish it off – every pitcher wants the CG if they can, and Bassit definitely deserved it!
The complete game is almost pretty much gone now, pitchers back in the day were boss
Spencer Strider is an absolute ace, the kid is phenomenal on the mound. The Braves really lucked out with him. He was sensational last season and he looks like he’s carried that form into this season. He’s still only 24 too, the same age as stars like Soto, Tatis and Vlad. He has a bright future, I think a blind man could see that. That isn’t to take anything away from Chris Bassitt though.

Game 38: Great starting pitching by both teams. It is very hard to shut out the Braves lineup, but Bassitt was able to throw a CG shutout
