Hey, what’s up, Steelers Nation? It’s your boy, David, back with another video on the channel. Today, we gotta talk about some breaking news coming straight from the Steelers camp. But before we dive in, make sure you’ve already hit that subscribe button and turned on the notification bell so you don’t miss any of the latest Steelers updates. Trust me, you don’t wanna be left in the dark.

Alright, let’s get to it. So, the Steelers just signed ol’ Spencer Anderson to a rookie contract. It’s official, my friends! The team agreed to terms with Anderson, and they made the announcement on Twitter. This dude was our last pick, number 251, in the 2023 NFL draft.

Now, Anderson is a versatile offensive lineman out of the University of Maryland. This 22-year-old has got skills, man. He can play all over the O-line, from center to right guard and even the tackle positions. Talk about a jack of all trades. In college, he made 42 appearances in games and started over 30 of ’em. That’s some serious experience.

According to the insiders, Anderson’s contract details aren’t available yet, but hey, Over the Cap estimated it to be a four-year deal worth around 3.9 million dollars. Not too shabby for a rookie, huh? He also scored a nice signing bonus of about 77 thousand dollars.

Now, here’s what I think. Anderson’s versatility is gonna be a real asset for us. He’s got the size, the skills, and the frame to make an impact. He might start as a backup for Mason Cole at center, but mark my words, he’s gonna be a swing guy, making plays all over that line. Remember what happened with John Legend? Yeah, he stepped up when BJ Finney got injured in 2021. Anderson’s gonna have a similar role this season, and I’m excited to see what he brings to the table.

But hey, enough of my thoughts. I wanna hear what you think about this signing. Do you believe Anderson has what it takes to make a difference on our team? Drop your opinions and predictions in the comments below. I’ve been loving the engagement and discussions on our previous videos, so keep ’em coming, fam.

Alright, that’s all for today, folks. Thanks for tuning in, and remember to stay tuned to the channel for more Steelers news and content. Until next time, catch you soon, fans!
