I give 17 tips that any golfer can use to break through their scoring barrier. I include key stats and strategies an average hitting golfer like myself can implement. This is coming from someone who bunts it down the fairway and can play reasonably well as an unathletic golfer.

  1. Just came across your channel. Really enjoyed the content, nice and calm easy watch. Love your consistency , keeping the ball in play and giving yourself chances. Greens this time of the year are never going to help the putting. 🏌️‍♂️

  2. This is some the most real advice to help the average golfer I've ever heard. Good club choices and course management can save a lot of strokes. Looking forward to checking out more from you. Thanks from a new subscriber.

  3. I really enjoyed this video. Very good information! I suggest one other tip that has helped drop my hdcp., play the proper tees. I carry a 2.1 index, but I can't play a course over 7000 yards, just can't hit it far enough. Everyone needs to eject the ego and better scores will follow. Keep up the good work!

  4. Hey man, I just watched this video after looking for something else. Just wanted to say I really enjoyed it. I’m a high handicapper, not sure if I hit short but I don’t hit woods at the moment (long story) so this definitely helped. I’ll go watch the break 90 one now.

Ps. You strike the ball really nice 👍🏻

  5. I have a buddy that is so proud that he can drive 300+ yards, his best round ever was an 89. Last summer I played my 3 wood as my driver which I can hit maybe 220 and I broke 80 several times.

  6. What got me right away was your swing. Joined up right away. Please do a video and tell us all about your golfing life. If you already have done so, where would we find it. Thanks.

  7. Nicely done..good pragmatic advice. I couldn't help noticing you missed almost all your putts on the left side in this video. Any thoughts on that?

  8. 140 with your 8 Iron is not exactly being a short hotter, is it? Especially when you are over 50 ( not sure it is your case..). But thanks for the great video and tips.

  9. You've given me some of the best on course play and ball fitting tips.

Having grown up in Alaska my hat is off to you for playing winter golf up there where you are.

    Cheers

  10. he has a nice swing with good tempo..I am surprised he doesn't hit the ball further with that swing frankly…but i wouldn't say you are average, you have to be better than 85% of all golfers…this guy is straighter than most pro's!

  11. Love your thoughtful, well-managed game! Great content and camera work too. What part of the country are you in?

  12. Excellent video! You present more realistic yardages most amateur's face. Thank you, just subbed. I have to agree with the comments below, you have a wonderful swing and hit it straighter than most. Please include when you do hit the bad shot and your thought process to avoid the doubles. I think it would be best during your normal play than staging it for demonstration. Learning to read lies before selecting the shot to play would be very helpful. I just try and hit the ball the same and after the fact notice I didn't hit the right shot. Jeff

  13. Your thought process and shot placement was pretty cool to watch. Thank you for this fine video, I hope you play your best round next time out.
