I took my Homemade Boat, or Kayak whatever you want to consider this thing Fishing for the first time down at the river. I had a blast, this thing can really change the way I fish and presenting the bait to fish and not always bank fishing. This cheap Homemade boat is made from Aluminum, Fiberglass, and is lightweight for its unbelievable stability and ease. I called this boat the Star Wars Ywing boat, because of all of the comments I received from Facebook and the groups I am on. I wanted something that has the possibility of being backpacked in and assembled to go out and fish similar to akayak. Most portable boats that can be packed in are usually inflatable and this is a rigid design that weighs 80 pounds and in comparison to a Hobie 12 foot kayak that weighs the same or more. Hobie kayaks are super expensive this little boat was very cheap to make and was a fun project to bring ideas I have to life.
