Here's the thing regarding Klay's shooting: Klay has always been 1) really hot at times and 2) really cold at times, & 3) mixed in with a fair amount of consistency. Lately he's been mostly cold. JJ is correct in that Klay need to knock down some easy ones and get some layups. This is what can ignite 'hot' Klay. When Klay gets really hot, it is amazing to watch. With Wiggs hurting, this would be a good time for Klay to get in the zone!

I’d love to see JJ on the Warriors coaching staff. It’s obvious we’ve not found a sufficient replacement for Mike Brown. If we lose the Lakers series I’ll be looking for serious changes in the Bay.

He's just not playing sharp, dude is having 3-5 turnovers a game when he doesn't even handle the ball. When you're not mentally sharp and turning the balls over it really throws off your momentum.
Well the three point percentage is misleading because of one game. Outside of Game 2 (8/11), he's at 35% for the series from 3 (14/40). He's been inefficient from all over the court. Some of it is the PnR but some of it is him forcing tough shots early in the clock

My take still stands with Poole and Klay. Watch them on the court together. They truly affect each other in a negative way. Klay has been so successful off catch n shoot but once Poole got more playing time it jacked up the movement. Poole over dribbling just crushes Klays game. He will come off a screen and Poole starts pounding that damn ball. Watch the body language. Then Klay becomes “iso” Klay. Poole is at his best when he just plays within the flow of the offense.

Yeah, its odd how Klay tends to twist, fade and drift all at the same time during his shots. Its like he wants to make it unnecesarily difficult for him. 🤣 Its cringy for a fan like me.
Just need to use Klay differently. Run stuff for him mid-post like Knicks use to do with Allen Houston.
The truth is Klay is very limited offensivley and always has been. He relies off of screens (mostly illegal) to get 90% of his shots. The Lakers are playing him to a T just like the Cavs successfully did in every Finals they played. So when you're hard chasing him over screens and running him off the 3 point line his already limited offensive capabilities start to sputter. He is terrible at putting the ball on the floor and creating his own shot. That's why in his best game ever had the ball like 11 seconds total and took 8-9 dribbles to score 60 points. Klay is who we thought he was, and we ain't letting him off the hook! #LakersIn6 #DynastyOver
It probably doesn't help that he has had such horrific leg injuries in the recent past. You might come back and play well, but there will always be issues with lingering soreness, fear of injury in certain situations, and fatiguing faster than usual. The Lakers have a good offense and Klay has to play real defense or their guards would put up huge numbers. That's going to wear on someone who plays in a motion offense. You see Curry wearing out at the end of games as well. It's just a question of how hot/cold the Lakers are in a given game. If they're missing everything then the defense can relax a bit and save the energy for the offensive end. If you're getting real point production from the guards (from 3 or penetrating to the hoop), it's going to wear out GSW's biggest threats.
Klay kind of rushing shots again but I trust in his defense and game 6 Klay.
