Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard serve was on fire in the semi-final and final – it was not broken once! Clearly hard-courts will serve him well going forward.
Well done Giovanni! First Challenger title ;). There's so much emulation with our young players like Van Assche/Fils/Muller/Cazaux/Cuenin etc, that's great. There's still some room for improvement for Giovanni though, he needs to work a lot on his return as he doesn't break much (many errors with his slice), but he's so young, he can only improve! Very promising! Congrats Gio, we'll be supporting you loads at Roland Garros 😁.
