DJ's swing is a combination of a young Jack Nicklaus' upright swing plane along with Trevino's bowed wrist. The upright swing provides a ton of leverage to overpower golf courses and the bow in the wrist helps to steer the ball, but father time will eventually slow him down just like Nicklaus and Trevino. That swing is not meant for longevity, but it will make par 5s play like par 4s, which is a tried and true method of success.
