Chris I think you must include the new Cobra blades that you tested with James I think they're nice looking and probably the equal Of the options you have mentioned.
With Dave's tendency to pull his Irons to the left, it would be interesting to see how changing his lie angle to 2deg Flat affects his ball flight and the Pull left. I suspect that it would straighten out the Pull increase his Spin, increase the total height and his AoD, which would potentially be a game changer.
Hi Chris, great video. The one thing stopping me buying these is the lack of shaft options. I use the Project x 6.0 rifle shafts. A shaft comparison would be great. i.e which KBS shaft is the most similar. cheers
They were making great irons ten, fifteen years ago, even longer,, biggest thorn for me is the whole conforming groove thing which doesn't really affect a range warrior/recreational golfer like myself. The absolute longest carrying missile launchers I own are also the ugly clubs…Adams xtd cross cavities with noodle shafts (KBS c taper 90 regular flex). The four iron has old school 3 iron loft but the high trajectory and length are ridiculous, hard to control too. Just too ugly, lol! Off point but still,, newer doesn't always mean better, right Matt Fitzpatrick?
I'm always down with saving 650 quid over a couple of yards anytime ,I just don't like being robbed when a very similar brand can do very much the same for a lot less . And always remember the golden rule of the man with the club in his hand creates the good and bad shots .
The 101Ts are beautiful irons. I got mine in about a week ago and they look awesome and play exceptional as far as accuracy. I do feel they play about 5-10 yards shorter than other irons but the accuracy is outstanding.
