Anthony Davis has had dominant performances in the playoffs and a few off nights, but the Lakers strategy against the Warriors is built around him. This detailed film breakdown & scouting report breaks down how Coach Marvin Ham has used Davis to guard Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and the Splash Brothers offense…and how AD’s offensive presence also dictates the matchups in this series.

  1. This video alone just jinxed them, I’m coming back to this video when they lose and it’s your fault

  2. Some of AD's blocks were supernatural. Not looking at the ball and making an awkward, backhanded motion to swap it out of the air.

  3. Can you break down the refs not calling the same soft fouls that they call for the Lakers? Lakers get the softest touch fouls while Warriors get grabbed and hugged and not get any calls 🤣

  4. AD is so great, I was a huge fan of his in NOLA, always wanted him to join GSW but now I gotta cheer against him but it sill amazing to see him performing at his best

  5. If AD could have stayed healthy his whole career there's a good chance he might have been considered the greatest player of all time. Like he could have been the most dominant player at both ends since Russell.

  6. The thing about AD is that he is so inconsistent he could be a god in one night than plays like Javale another night🥲

  7. The amount of free throws lakers are getting is crazy. But as a LeGoat fan it does put a smile on my face 😁

  8. Anthony Davis with good durability and the basketball IQ to avoid taking weird inefficient shots and having sporadic no shows would literally be a top 5 player of all time. When he’s on, nobody can stop him and he’s an MVP level player.

  9. A Dynasty is a franchise that has won in multiple decades with multiple different generations. Warriors are NOT a dynasty

  10. I know that Ad has been great and they won because of him but like will they give him the Finals Mvp? Since Lebron has been more consistent if they were to go the finals and win. But then its because of Ad that thry won these game so if lebron dont go nuts in the finals then I assume its Ad that will get the finals mvp and people would shit on lebron again them lol

  11. Great breakdown. Makes you wonder if AD had stayed healthy the year after the bubble, I think they beat Phoenix, who ended up in the Finals losing to the Bucks.

  12. 0:49 did he say lakers were afraid to shoot near AD?? i gotta agree, draymond green did not want to shoot near him

  13. The warriors are specialists at exposing big men. Even all star level ones. Now they face this freaky stuff 3:06.

I just hope AD remains healthy for 65 games next year. He deserves at least 1 DPOY in his career so people can remember what a monster he was. In my opinion he's a historic rim protector considering this way faster and way less physical era he playing in.
