One curious thing for the rookie heavy teams – college football seasons are ~12 games long while NFL suberbowl seasons are ~20 games long. Rookie heavy teams fade as their young players get a little beat up but the sophmore seasons see a huge bump in late season effectiveness as those 21/22 year olds have a full offseason to hit the weight room and just continue to grow.
