  1. I think you should play against Pete finch on you tubes best golfer, that would be fantastic viewing, keep up the good work Johnathon your the man cheers 🍻👌

  2. What I really appreciate about you is that even though you’re a pro and an accomplished instructor it is evident that you are continuously thinking about your own swing and tweaking it and passing the tweaks on to us. Your instruction is not old beat up advice, it is fresh, insightful and demonstrated in a clear manner. I know it’s tough being a golf instructor god but hang in there, we need you!

  3. You briefly mentioned this in the end of the video but would you recommend doing this for longer irons and even woods where the ball sits closer to the left foot and to start the club more centered?

  4. I do this! Great to see it here again cause it has helped me hit up. Had so many people say something about my set up but why… I'm further out and in play 😂

  5. Can you show your left hand strong and have a bowed left wrist in the downswing as you have? It looks neutral now.

  6. I started this a week ago and my drives have never been longer and more consistent. It’s a serious game changer.

  7. Hi, Thank you for the tip. Please tell me where you got your set up? We just have the back netting, and our balls end up in the forest most of the time. Your metal frame, and netting looks quite sturdy . Thanks

  8. I've been doing this since I began playing 10 years ago, only because its feels more comfortable, always thought I needed to change it as it was the norm, little did I know…..
Pleased to say I will now leave this part of my game alone.

  9. I could never get past 240 yards… so When i tried this at first i honestly got on average 20 yards further…. the only issue i had with this and i still set up this way is that if i try to hit the back of the ball i got the same old yardage … you have to ignore the ball and swing to where you are setup.. a bit like a bunker shot where your aiming for the sand not the ball… it defo works!

  10. I’ve been struggling with the driver for the longest time. To a point where I removed it from my bag completely.

Tried this to and my contact improves dramatically helped my slice so much!

  11. Really love all of your content! Thanks a Million! How do I purchase one of those nets you have?

  12. Tried this a few times and certainly worked – straighter and better launch, I found. Just looks and feels a bit odd when setting up to the ball. May try it again when playing tomorrow and see how it goes!

  13. I don’t understand why it’s later in the swing arc. The balls still in the same place regardless of where the club starts. The club strikes it opposite the lead foot. Is there something about the beginning location of the club head that I’m missing?

  14. This is an excellent tip that works really well, however occasionally I hit it straight left, any ideas why???

  15. Started doing this a few months ago, after realising I was hitting down on the ball. First time I've ever been able to hit a draw on demand. There does seem to be the odd one that snaps left dramatically tho.

  16. I saw this move on another YouTube channel many years ago and have been placing my driver as you show. This also prevents your shoulders from being open at address reducing your chances of slicing. I’ve had mixed results though. There are so many ways to arrive at the ball with an open club face! I still use the set up youve shown.

  17. Tried this out on the golf course today and it definitely improved my driving, feels more natural hitting up on the ball, the odd fade, not slice every now and agin, but really helped my game today, thanks for the tip, keep them coming, can you do something on hitting 3 wood of the deck, that’s some I really struggle with😊

  18. Thanks for the video. I have been using this so far this year and love it. An added bonus is that it's easy to diagnose tempo issues. If I pull it slightly, I was probably too quick. Block it? Probably the opposite issue. Fairly easy to sort out during a round. I haven't had a slice using this unless I purposely tee it up low to keep it below the tree line.
