I fully expect a bunch of these statements to age very, very poorly over time. It is inevitable when talking about the NFL Draft, but it won’t stop me from self-owning over and over again. The 2023 NFL Draft will make and break teams. This is also inevitable, as all great teams are built in the war rooms and scouting departments across the league.

In the first round, 31 men were given the call from teams across the league (Miami was stripped of their first pick due to tampering by Stephen Ross). This video is dedicated to those men. Regardless of how their careers play out, this night can never be taken away from them.

  1. The best thing about Will Levis was how pissed his girlfriend looked every time the camera was on them. Ten bucks says she's already slid into Stroud's DMs.

  2. Anderson is great but he’s far from generational. People need to stop using that term so loosely

  3. I was like the rest of the Lions fans, thinking WTF was Holmes thinking with Gibbs at 12. But seeing some of his tape, and the rest of this draft (Thanks GB for the trade at giving us Branch), I like this draft they got. Hooker is gonna learn under Goff and this offense since he tore his ACL at the end of last year, so that should help. They are developing for the culture of now, and it's the brightest looking of any Detroit Sports teams right now

  4. 10:05 I may not have much respect for the Jets, but I respect this kid's passion. Even if it is the Jets.

  5. 8:40 This selection is another reason why I'm more excited about the Badgers (Wisconsin's FBS team) this fall than the Packers. The Badgers' offense when it clicks should be absolutely electric.

  6. Gibbs was Holmes' favorite when it came to it. Also Gibbs was going to be gone by 15 so there was no waiting…

  7. I was following the draft on the NFL website. When I saw the Houston logo under Anderson's name I thought it was a glitch

  8. After you named Lawrence Phillips during the Jalen Carter pick, i googled him. Holy fuck, what a piece of shit that guy was. Breaking into your backup QB's apartment (because was living with Phillips's at the time ex girlfriend) assaulting her, dragging her by the hair downstairs and smashing her head into a mailbox? (All of this when he was still in college). The guy had talent, but he had no work ethic and couldn't keep his hands to himself.

  9. Man I knew he was doing pretty bad but Campbell decided to become a football player mid playoff series, in skinner they trust I guess

  10. I'm just glad Tree waits a full 5 years to evaluate picks instead of doing a redraft every year like other media

  11. Sad as it is, this is only just occurring to me. Has Lovie Smith’s revenge by destroying Houston’s tank been effectively counteracted? I know that only time will tell for certain, but it’s disappointing thought all the same.

  12. You know, everyone loves to talk about GB not drafting a first round receiver, but how many times do they need to hit on guys in the second or even later in the draft for people to realize that (agree with it or not) their entire draft strategy revolves around not reaching for receivers in the first? None of these receivers were absolute locks for the first round outside of maybe JSN, but even then there were injury concerns and the fact he was only a slot receiver in college. Anyone who watched how awful the packers’ pass rush was last year knows how badly they need depth at edge, and addressing it early was a smart pick. Especially given Gary probably won’t be 100% most of the year

  13. i just hope the colts don’t get impatient with richardson and actually let him sit, cause if they let him play early and develop bad habits he’ll be a bust, but if they let him soak like mahomes then they’ll have a amazing qb

  14. I played against Bryce young in high school. It’s bizarre knowing he went in as the number 1 draft pick.

  15. I was thrilled with what the Panthers ended up with. It’s been a while since an off-season inspired yknow actual hope and not just “well maybe it’ll be better” feelings

  16. Honestly the texans trade up is going to look terrible this year. There is a less than 10% chance they make the playoffs
