  1. I said to my wife when Zahid slowly and unetheusiastically walked to the circle to start second that he was done. Really kind of surprising tbh.
So who you have …. DT or AB?

  2. Why does Zahid look middle eastern with a middle eastern first name. When I looked him up couple years ago it says he’s Hispanic but the dude could be my cousin 😂

  3. To be honest y'all I don't even think it's the cardio that's the problem for Zahid Valencia. I think he's cutting way too much weight. He looks far too big for his weight class.

  4. At certain points they just can figure out how to continue the action. A high level olympian wrestler wouldn't be inactive in those moments

  5. Leg lace is so corny it shouldnt be worth that much to just turn someone a few times.

  6. One of the biggest reasons US wrestlers beat foreign wrestlers with far more freestyle experience is conditioning, Zahid got gassed early second period.

  7. Can hate on Penn State all you want, I know I certainly don’t like seeing them win all the time, but they do it the right way over there. No one routinely has their guys more conditioned and just flat out getting better every year, more than Cael.

  8. I always say you should drill like you do in folkstyle for freestyle. Brooks still in shape to wrestle 7+ minutes

  9. There is no one in NA wrestling, possibly the world who throws in underhooks like Aaron Brooks! The motion starts from his core, then lats where his shoulders just launch them in and up. 100% commitment.
Cardio aside, look at Brooks' physicality: Against Mark Hall, who no one doubts for strength, you can see Brooks' ropey, broad shoulder power easily matching Halls' more compact frame.
And here, Brooks' posture and body language says he's gonna win, despite the early deficit. While Valencia's swiping away his silly bangs, Brooks brawls right into face, hands up and smelling blood.
Zahid — you're not just tired; more importantly, you're not hungry. Brooks is a chunk of relentless, stalking granite.

  10. Gotta love how these Penn State guys aren't deterred when the match isn't going well initially. They just plug along and eventually find ways to score points and win.

  11. Zahid's cardio burned him bad. Brooks had great intensity throughout the match, never stopped once he had him on the ropes. Great comeback.🎉
