    We were a team that played wet weather footy even when it was dry.

    We did all the little things right and our attack created itself against tiring defensive lines.

    Our try creation was spontaneous and was never really a feature in our tactics…… AND IT NOW SHOWS.

    We scored like 20 tries last year kicking to Nanai on last tackle…. this season we have avoided kicking to that side like its the plague.

    Our team is no longer the fittest, the hardest working or the most cohesive. Last year we were the best TEAM, the best UNIT of players …… now we are a team below average defense and a flat attack.

    Plus we lost 2 origin rep players and replaced them with …… James Tamou lol

    As a Manly fan, I reckon we are getting pretty close to needing a rebuild, or at least shaking up the roster. Our salary cap has been struggling for years now because we have so many big contracts at the club. DCE's will decrease as he heads to retirement and he is worth the money and Jake is obviously worth the money.

    Tom – I've gotten to a point with Tom where I don't think we will ever see that dallym form ever again. When he got injured against the Tigers, I was so unsuprised I didn't even react. Hes a quarter of his old speed, he covers half the metres and his confidence is shot to bits because he is one sprint away from an injury. I think the club has to sit down with him in the off-season if things don't improve, and go over a new contract for 400-500k.

    Schushter is a really difficult one, I'm okay with whatever direction the club wants to move in. Personally, I'm fine with telling him he has one more chance or he's gone, don't forget the reason we don't have Foz was because his manager came to the club and demanded he plays 6. Now we know he's on 800k, we need him out there as much as possible. The fact he can't get fit for the second season in a row, there is clearrly a mentality issue with Schushter, and I hope he can work through whatever that is because every single fan wants to see him out there. But if the Tigers want him, and we can maybe negotiate a trade with an Utoikumanu or even a Douhi, I wouldn't be against letting him go

    Its now the 4th season where 50% of our cap in on like 6 players, and then we have absolutely no depth. As soon as 1 or two of the big money boys start to struggle, the whole team struggles

    Love this format Kempy. Like someone else said it sounds like the old school footy show. Would be great to possibly do this in the finals? I dunno just a thought, get the supporters around it and half on the piss, could go one of two ways. Fantastic entertainment, or a shit show.

    Josh Schuster is a generational talent. Not just as a Manly fan, but as a fan of rugby league, I want this man to live up to his potential. I mean when he's on have we seen anything close to chip chasing 20 metres out from the try line, no look passes, engaging the defence like he does (matty johns and cronk said he's the best in the league at it), basketball cut out pass to the winger. The boy plays like it's backyard footy. He is one of the most creative, instinctive, flashy attacking weapons we've ever seen. The situation is not to do with his performances, this year he's only played 3 games, first game MOTM performance, second game quieter but solid, and the tigers game was disastrous but was obviously injured. In the only 8 games he's played in his career as 6, he's put in solid performances, 7+/10 for most of those games. It's not to do with performances or consistency. It's do with his fitness and him getting on the field. That's his biggest problem that could mess up his career.

    Swear to god I'm not trying to hate, but Guru, could you please speak in your normal voice. The fact that your having to clear your throat every time you speak because your forcing yourself to speak with a low voice should tell you that your better off just speaking normally.
    Far be it from me to tell someone how to speak I can barely place an order at a restaurant but just wanted to add my 2cents that no one was asking for.

    He’s just as affective as Flegler and even consistent and isn’t suspension worthy he’s a hard grinding unit and can throw those offloads remember that big Shot on Murray he brings a lot of aggression
    But Also Herbie himself is a massive Loss aye
    Haas and Mam are big losses and when they come back expect brisbane to better hopefully
    With the new salary cap have to give Haas 1 million
