Time flies, we’re into second year already 2025 will roll round soon enough when their contracts end and they can decide what they want to do with no penalty clause. The issue for them is if they have to regain a PGA or DP tour card.

These guys and their very expensive lawyers knew exactly what they were signing onto and won’t be going anywhere. The bigger point is whether the backers will continue pumping money into a venture that may or may not provide the returns they were hoping for. (Financial and political) The Saudi’s are rich but they’re not stupid. If golf doesn’t provide, something else will come along for them.

I think rules for their players are actually smart. Permission to talk the media sounds like a very smart idea. It is not a secret that LIV is a franchise golf league therefor players have a duty to represent the hand that feeds them imo
The players got the money. Once their contract is up, they will return to the PGA to salvage their legacy in the game!

The top steals have all got north of $150 million, so these guys have a grace period, and have all decided that saying adios to golf made economic sense. LIV will have to expand the tournament numbers since they will only lose money at every event. If they don't get their product out in front of the US audience they have zero chance of survival. This experiment is going nowhere, there is nothing that will support this tour. Its done, golf but louder ain't making a sound….hee hee..
No one is going to pay four or five times the size of their contract to leave LIV. Waiting until 2025 isn't a hardship. Some of the other contract terms seem very oppressive, but what do you expect when dealing with the likes of MBS. The change from 8 to 14 events must have irked the players. Most players have come to a point where their golfing careers are running short due to age. Keopka will be fine as long as he keeps doing well in majors. He is probably exempt for all majors for another year, along with Dustin. Speaking of Dustin he made some very stupid statements. He moaned about the fact if he didn't do this he would have to play on the senior tour until he was 60. He also said he had to to take care of his family. He is either very dumb or way to privileged. Wayne Gretzky is your father in-law and he has made 10s of millions of dollars. I have nothing against the guy but grow a brain, your grandchildrens grandchildren will never ever NEED money.
