  1. Tom, your instructional videos are great! Not only has it changed my golf game tremendously but I get a good chuckle along the way. Keep up the excellent work! BTW, do you give in-person lessons at the Tradition Club in South Carolina? I would really like to know if it is possible to get lessons from you in-person.

  2. Every time I hit a good shot now after watching Tom video's for the past year or so I think to myself is KFC, thanks Tom. Wish I lived closer to take some in person lesson's, I'm sure they would have helped sooner.

  3. Bow left wrist at top of bs, or dorsiflex right (trail) wrist at top of bs, whatever visual works for you. Just make sure you don't have a super strong grip at set up.

  4. This made such a huge difference in my swing!!! I would have a good day of golf and then the next day top the ball and feel like I was completely lost. Today I went out and implemented the elbow and was striping the ball so consistently! Cannot say enough how thankful I am for these lessons and being able to actually enjoy golf more.

  5. I’ve all but give up on this sport, no matter what I try I can’t hit my irons like this. Woods are good, but I hate bringing my irons out of the bag. Really frustrated.

  6. "Recreation. Recreation's gotta recreate the soul"

Well said. Can't wait to try out the tips this week

  7. Alrighty then, I had to follow up on my 1st comment below, which I was watching while coming home from work today and just going, dang, this is what you forgot and is the key to getting back to the top of my game 8 weeks ago before I got a brutal case of Covid, which affected my brain big time. I guess you can call it Covid fog but it damn near made me give up the game 5 weeks ago when I started playing again after being so sick. I have been so damn frustrated as again, my game just has not been anywhere near where it was which was consistent low 80's for the past year. I don't think most people understand the free value that Tom is giving up to us with his vids. I'm a firm believer that anyone that just watched his vids enough and put into practice enough his free lessons and they'd absolutely could be a great golfer. I have a practice net in my backyard, I just smashed the living snot out of 50 balls from just watching this vid today, cured everything from wedge on up, which I've just been losing my shit lately racking my brain trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. The missing light bulb just went back on of 'narrow and tight' back into my brain and thus swing. I figured this out myself about a year and half ago, but Tom's lesson today put it into a context that will stick as now I know I was and am on the right path. This is what my brain forgot somehow with Covid, bring the downswing tight against my body, that was my thought, but you can think of it in different ways which Tom's way is better to think about. The trail arm needs to stay tight and angled until the last moment. This keeps the hands ahead of the club head allowing for crispy KFC contact and a host of other positives. It literally is vital swing thought and perhaps the most important one as if applied properly it brings pretty much everything else we must think about into play automatically. Those who have been working on their swing enough I believe will agree with what I'm going on about here. Tom, I owe you much more than a beer or simple thanks, I owe you not having to go to a psychiatrist because I'm losing my mind from losing my swing that I've worked so hard on the past 3 years. I got it all back today from this vid. Thank you Bruther! I've said it before, but my bucket list includes meeting you and having a lesson and then a jam session. No better golf instructor exists on the Tube, Tom breaks things down so eloquently and he's made me understand the why's of things I've realized digging it out of the dirt but didn't understand. He puts it into proper context. Da man.

  8. I do love my putter and putting (old ping zing putter) 😅 but it's also nice to get there to make it worth while.

  9. Yes…I’ve been in the school now for about a month and had my best ever practice session yesterday with the vast majority of strikes being crispy. It’s like an evolution process where you hear the words and practice the drills but in the end it’s all down to feelings, simplicity and trusting the process. Baby draws yesterday time after time. I love it.

  10. Another great video Tom. I thinking now I should have stayed with you, the stack and tilt is so much easier than the traditional swing. Way to many swing thoughts. I notice you are using the jumbo grips what is the benefit in your opinion?

  11. Keeping that elbow in is gold. Took me the entire season to break 80 last year, 8 rounds to do it this year, thanks Tom.

  12. You have helped me reduce the pain in my back and get me hitting the ball great again. Actually had it 8 under after 16 holes the other day. (forward tees, I'm 71). Thank you!!!

  13. Hello Tom, really enjoying your videos. I love your straight forward approach – really simplifies my thinking which gets in the way. In the first video I watched, you talked about weight shift to my backside – and I realized that messed me up for years – trying to understand why my contact was so inconsistent. Thanks!

A quick question. What grips do you use? I always liked the feel of larger grips. Thank you.

  14. Tom, how long have you been using the jumbo grips? My buddy just got the jumbo-mid and loves them. Just seems like a huge change. I'm using mid-size standard right now.

  15. Wish you were closer to South lake Tahoe. You would definitely be my in person instructor
Your videos have helped improve my swing. From 18 to 9 immediately, about to go to a 5 or 6. This summer for sure if the snow ever melts, got another 4”s this morning 😢
