    No one made a comment or noticed how kat mertsch threw a left hand shot on hole 8 and it went into the trees but it wasn’t bad for some one who isn’t a lefty.

    I love hearing those stories of people getting better in life. We all should be open with are past and current struggles. After returning home from Afghanistan I buried myself in drugs and alcohol and nearly cost me my life and part of me wanted to die just to escape the pain, but soon after I discovered disc golf and it's as if the heavens opened up to me, new bright days shined on me and just got lost in the love of disc golf. 12 years later I'm doing much better and will be throwing frisbees until the end of my days. Thank you Kat, for sharing ur story. It takes courage to do that and u have touched many hearts.
