After finishing tied for 14th in his title defense, 2021 Masters champion Hideki Matsuyama is looking to return to the top in this year’s edition.
The Japanese star will tee off at 10:54 a.m. local time on Thursday alongside Cameron Smith and Sungjae Im.
Matsuyama has not won since the January, 2022 Sony Open in Hawaii and has fallen to 21st in the world. He tied for 15th at last week’s Valero Texas Open.
