I heard Colorado offers the football players a free purse with every commitment. Seriously though, from a Nebraska fan, I think Dion is exactly what Colorado needed to rejuvenate the program. I think most people have a problem with him being super egotistical without really proving anyting at the power 5 level. Oddly enough, I find myself… not really defending him or the program, rather educating people on why those things are happening. Bottom line the best these guys could be for most other programs is a back up or 3rd on roster at any position. Think about it!!! if I saw they quit on coach prime coming from a 1-11 team and YOU QUIT. Simple YOU QUIT!!! prime didn't put you there. He told you your gonna have to compete and you folded. Why would i want that cancer on my team and im another coach seeing where your coming from? No the best he could be is a 3rd and if he is really good a back up to 2 or 3 guys on my roster. They are not competitors for the NFL level and just want to be handed a position. Colorado is getting another 25 to 40 by late June. Every DB scout will be at Colorado and Jackson St. Every WR scout, due to the DB high play. I would wanna see how they respond to these good DBS

This whole situation looks to be in ‘poor taste’. U just use these kids to play a spring game and then cut ties after u don’t need them. In my opinion it seems like they led these kids on. Why not tell them in December there’s no chance of u being on this team u need to go. But looks like they told them after the game and therefore we have 17 players exit.
I can’t wait til coach Prime coaches this one year and Bolts for a better job. He’ll be there two years at the most. After Shadeur leaves for the NFL coach prime is gone. He’ll either go to the SEC or Florida State if open.

Good show guys. When you’re Prime and have a 1-11 team every single player is expendable. Opportunity cost of a scholarship misused becomes more valuable than almost all of the rostered carryovers.

People also did not watch Coach Prime’s Spring & Covid Season at JSU. It was terrible but he had to play with the team that was inherited… Shedeur was on the sidelines in street clothes. 1st full season WINS. Coach Sanders has only been in Boulder SIX MONTHS.
Any of the players who jumped into the portal hurt themselves more than they realized because it show lack of belief in their own abilities.

During the pre game speeches was like he was high he didn't catch what he was saying or read the room when he said it putting it out that he didn't care. You're only here to make me look good then I'm cutting 90% of you. He told all those boys you're playing so players will want to come and replace you. He told them during the speeches most won't be there long and that they better not get hurt or show it if they did. Man i hate this I love coach Been a fan my whole life. This ain't about feelings there's no love not personal only business. I get it but why wouldn't some great players leave too if he's showing I only matter of I'm great and winning you'll shower me with love but if I get hurt or lose I'm nothing to you

I don't think Colorado is a top twenty-five NIL program. The top portal players are going where the money is. That is today's college football. It is hard to get used to. Teams now have a base salary NIL pool, and then an incentive pool for individual stats. I consider Division 1 college football and basketball as now being professional players.
This was the plan all along. Coach Prime has said it straight out many times. The Fall team will be a lot different than the Spring team.

How many more transfers are out there to be had? At some point, recruiting has to shift toward 2024 and beyond.
The transfer portal is going to do this to a lot of programs, as coaches and players become more aggressive. Either way, did Colorado win a game last year? You brought Prime in to shake the program up…let him shake away

What if you follow coach. Work ass off. 2-3 seasons. Your turn start. Then coach buys star. Iv worked ass off 3 years for what. Transfers just a cheap way buy a championship. It use be illegal. Now reworded. To cheat. Transfer is cheating.
He need those scholarships for the next year squad. Some people are missing the point. It's 5 stars coming next year. They wasn't gone play at all. Coach Prime being real. It's best for you to leave. it's not messed up it's being honest. They should be thanking Coach Prime, Some of them players had 5 game stats for two years.

They covered a 1-11 team practice on National T.V. because of Prime not because they won 1 game.
It's funny when I say this people are in disbelief….not even the BEST coaches can turn 1-2 STAR athletes into Stars….rave about Saban all you want….but look who he signs on signing day…look at the NFL bodied linemen, receivers, LB's.. RB's….so what I'm saying is…this game is about talent….and if you win 1 game in 2022 it probably means you don't have much talent…and just bringing in great coaches will NOT win you the PAC 12 you MUST also turn over your staff…it was just that PRIME had the luxury of social media to aid him in enticing some to leave sooner rather then later to immediately free up some scholarships….when i saw Prime tell him team "Some think they are the man….and to talk to your position coach" I knew that was the final piece to the puzzle in trying to get some players to voluntarily leave………….now…..what he does over the next 6 months will either get him carved into Mt Rushmore….or into the laughing stock of coaching……..but some great players can play the role of 2 marginal players…..if you doubt this…look at some of some of Shilo's tape.

Players from a 1-11 team have to go. He said on day 1. "So I wan't y'all to get ready, to go ahead and jump in that portal…" The program has a culture of losing. This is what happens when you raise a couple generations on participation trophies, people can't see that ability and intelligence are not the same amongst humans.
Prime knows talent and he knows what it takes to build a powerhouse. Black coaches usually get the players already on the team they are hired to coach, but rarely are they allowed to build a program from scratch. Prime loves the Lord and will be given the desired players of his heart. To God be the Glory!!
