What actually happened is Steve Kerr saw that the team is CLEARLY better without Draymond and with Looney (as they ALWAYS would have been in all 4 championship runs with ANY other replacement level player), but to be respectful to this out of control CLOWN and keep him from exploding, Kerr went to Draymond and said, "hey let's come out and say that you asked to come off the bench to help the team…that way, it looks like you're helping the team and a hero."
