Kap is excited about the upcoming draft. But he asks you about how much you believe in Justin Fields. Kap talks about how Michael Lombardi and Warren Sharp have both recently talked about not believing Justin Is the guy. Warren Sharp even rated Justin the lowest rated quarterback who have been drafted since 2000 and have started at least two seasons. Kap says he still believes in Justin.

Tua Tagovailoa said he contemplated retiring after all his concussion issues last season. But instead he’s been getting in even better shape and has tried to learn how to fall and protect his head.

The White Sox lost to the Phillies today. The Cubs are blowing out the A’s and the game is in the 9th Inning.

  1. Bears should draft a QB later round. Justin Fields will be fine if offense line improves.
    Cubs beat Oakland

  2. I think Fields will be ok it just a matter of if the coaching staff puts him in a scheme and situation to succeed! With that being said I'm not completely sold on our OC and HC! Sometimes it looked like Nagy was still play calling I hope that it was part of tanking! Lol cuz we can add all the talent we want but if the coaching staff isn't any good! Or can't put guys in the position to succeed!! Then wats the point!

  3. Are we sure the bears shouldn’t draft a QB? Who’s saying this? Lol. I think most would agree taking a QB almost every year is not a bad idea, just not taking one in the first 3 rounds. That would be fuckin dumb.

  4. He's above average. I don't see any shot at us ever winning a championship with him tho. He is not an accurate enough passer. Would rather see them suck one more year and draft Caleb Williams

  5. Fans are blinded by being fans. Fields is exciting and couldn't throw more than 200yrds twice last season. Fields has this upcoming year to light it up or draft a QB #1 next year. Literally ranked 49 out of 49, and y'all thinks he is the messiah.

  6. If we draft another quarterback this season, I think it’s a mistake maybe with our first pic from Carolina next year if fields can’t get it done. But that would be a shame. I do have faith that Justin Fields will be productive, and the top 10 quarterback by the end of the year just need to put an offensive line there to protect him.

  7. Hi Kap, where was Josh Allen in those guys rankings? I think Fields can be every bit the quarterback Allen is. When Fields was at Ohio State he was one of the most efficient quarterbacks in the country. If Fields gets an offensive line and quality receivers he will be just fine.

  8. I don't give a fuck about Michael Lombardi's opinion. Dude was the GM of the Browns during arguably the worst time in their history.

The other guy I don't know. I don't know what methodology he uses. But I know that if he has Herbert above Mahomes, his analytics need a little tweak.

  9. I believe fields is the guy because of his attitude and also he has had no players around him?? How can you make a proper decision??

  10. All Justin Fields hastur realize is same thing in basketball if they're letting you take the jump shot and take the jump shot if you see there letting you drive the lane for a layup you make the layup. Once he just tells himself I'm going to throw nice short passes until they're trying to stop them then I know I can go long and when I see there guarding the long just short pass them to death that Circle back and forth will make him a hall-of-famer

  11. I believe in Justin Fields! He passes he eye test and is giving me the most hope I’ve ever had as a Bears fan.

  12. Michael Lombardi and Warren Sapp…….idiots!, for making those illogical claims against Bears QB1 Justin Fields! SMH

I strongly believe Justin Fields is a premier NFL QB for the Bears; his first year, he was wrongfully coached by that lousy Matt Nagy and Fields' 2nd year (2022), he improved vastly under the leadership of OC Luke Getsy, while trying to do his (JF) best behind a lousy O-line that didn't protect him very well, so he had to run so much to make up for insufficient WRs that couldn't break free from secondary coverage and so Fields made those incredible long rushing TDs last year.

Once the Bears have a better O-line, Fields will be able to improve his passing ability by better pass protection and staying in the pocket to pass more efficiently. I don't agree with Lombardi and Sapp's comments. SMH

  13. It’s funny how people want us to give up on him when we haven’t even given him a fair chance yet. We lead the NFL in PPG from week 5-9 that’s with no requisite weapons around him!!! Let’s continue to bolster that O-line and we should see a tremendous improvement!!!

  14. I am curious who number 50 would have been. I love Fields but this is do or die season. I pray we don't have to use one of our 2024 1st round picks on a QB.✌

  15. Justin Fields has been a winner at every level he’s played at; why would anyone think that given the proper circumstances he want do the same at the NFL level. You know some people always say things to draw attention to themselves no matter how ridiculous what they have to say to get attention and here we go again.

  16. I dont believe Justin Fieldsis the guy because he hasnt shown that hes capable of throwing, hes also had plenty of times where WRs were open and he didnt see them or didnt try throwing to them, hes also only thrown for 200 yards TWICE in TWO years which is the biggest red flag

  17. Chase Claypool's best game came when Trevor Simean started and was throwing with a torn oblique. That means Fields pretty much can't be a reliable passer. HOWEVER, his run game is really good, and NFL defenses have been nerfed against the run starting a few years back. Definitely give him a few more years before any change.

  18. JF was the top rated QB ever coming out of Trent Dilfer's elite 11 QB camp. I'll go with Trentster's analytics. Shine that head up man. Don't think you get an off day because it's grey out and it's not gonna shine. Consistency in all things baby.

  19. No with Justin, I watched all games, He makes the long throws, But the tight window ,Never. He cant make that quick throw when Reciever cut across the middle, fast to get 10 yrds. His arms to slow. Even when he makes a quick throw, always late getting there.

  20. Yes I feel good about Fields. I am sure he's going to be better than any QB the Bears have had in my life time but I'm not convinced he will be great yet. I need to see more

  21. JF the worst?

All that matters are RESULTS not some "Executive".

JF won in HS, College and as a matter of fact, during what could be considered his first year in the NFL, he provided RESULTS.

JF is not 49th on anyone's QB list who comes from an unbiased perspective.

The other reason for this topic is to stimulate conversation on these forums … from now on, I will "pass" on this topic, no matter how it is positioned.

  22. The hate for jf1 is insane. If you blame fields for the problems of our offense, you’re just a midwit

  23. THREE PLAYERS IN ONE: Ryan Poles loves players with a DIVERSITY of skills. Generational Running back, BIJAN ROBERTSON, is also a GREAT RECEIVER and blocks like a TACKLE when protecting the QB. He would also give the Bears a hedge against the very real possibility that Justin Fields may only develops into an AVERAGE passer. But, with his running skills combined with a terrific running back could give the Bears an unstoppable running attack, and nothing helps out an average QB passer more than a great running game. Although Bijan Robertson is ranked No 5, because teams are considering running backs low priority, the Mock Drafts show him getting PICKED in the No 18 to No 26 position. Ryan Poles has worked out a BLOCKBUSTER 'Trade Down to No 17 Package' with the Steelers if Jalen Carter is available at their No 9 spot. And if one of the four top QB's is still available at No 9, he could probably also get a BLOCKBUSTER Trade Down Deal. Down to No 11 if he trades with the TITANS, No 14 if he trades with the PATRIOTS, No 16 if he trades with the COMMANDERS. Ryan Poles may even trade down again to the bottom of the 1st Round in order to get a LARGE QUANTITY of Picks, and if he does that, he still may be able to get Bijan Robertson, and I would be so disappointed if Ryan Poles and company do not see the potential if he is still available at the bottom of the 1st Round.

  24. If Fields has more than 1sec to throw, can use 5 and 7 step drops, watch out. That OL was the worst in 🏈. He has Jordan like mentality and guys like that, Kobe, don't fail. Changed his arm motion in 1yr, usually takes 2. Now it's footwork and OL play.

  25. Stfu already with this qb talk. Yea. Let's draft a q b after trading down from 1 ……pffft and then a receiver lets then go after another receiver with the second n third pick ,then a linebacker since we could need one a year from now, a qb. Lol u trying to sound cmart cause that's the dumbest thing I've heard about a possible bears draft. Stfu already
