Have you guys ever played an alternate shot or foursome format before? Well, it’s a format where 2 player team take turns playing just one ball. And usually, a round of 2-5 under par is considered pretty amazing. Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele (known to be great friends) shot 9 under. That’s right, 9 under. The previous record was 65, they shot 63. This puts them in second place at the Zurich Classic this week and 4-1 favorites to win it all. Patrick Cantlay has been in the spot light in the last few weeks due to slow play at Augusta and I am wondering if he’s just fired up shut everyone up. Stay tuned.
