wow, that face is really open on those chips, bit scary for me, however it works.
Reminds me of an old courtroom joke. How low can you go… Jack Russell. I won't tell the whole joke 😀
Cheers for the lesson StewDog
Best of luck tomorrow mate! Really enjoying the vids from South Africa!
chipping is the only good part of my game… all about the bounce, though I never open the face that much!
Country music, man with taste 👌🏽 great bit of short game advice. Got a wedge fit on Thursday, will be giving that technique a go
Those doubles cripple the round. Good luck tomorrow big man
Feel you with the short game – so demoralising
What kind of dog do you have? Mine looks the same but I dont know the breed lol
Damn these guys do a full weather forecast analysis before the game. I just go with the flow 😂
A far better round summary and great to see you in a better place mentally regarding your game and general outlook. SO impressive the way you think through your video content and structure. Fingers crossed for a reduction in short game woes… enjoy all of your round tomorrow.
Great short game lesson and of course, another wonderful vlog.
Good luck 🍀
No luck caaaatching them swaaaans then 🦢
Using that short game tip has got to help 👍⛳️
Have you considered taking up knitting?
Good golf is boring golf, have you looked into Scott Fawcett & his Decade system? Could be another avenue to explore.
It seems like you're trending and if you can turn those doubles into at worst a bogey while maybe converting a par save in there, you're gonna be set! Great Stuff!
6 birdies mate that’s awesome, good luck tomorrow, give it horns.
Keep it going James stay patient stay in the moment one shot at a time really concentrate on your mark u want to land your spot on short chips around the green it's helped my shot game plenty
Practice 80% short game (incl. putting) and 20% full swing clubs…..that's the ticket to success
💪🏻
Stu's chipping skills are insane 😮. Thanks for the vid. Another great one 👌
Cuddle more dogs and you'll get less doubles mate.
I enjoy these videos it’s the only place I can give a guy who could beat me by 10 shots — per 9 advice on how to improve his game 🙃
Man I swear you start every tournament round with 2 birdies
Sounds like you are so close. Keep going! Really good chipping tips, cheers for that section 👍
Practice practice practice that short game mate it will come👍
Get that fluff off your face, you dont need to hide that jawline.
Wow, face way to open for me to even think about. How scary that looks!
stu krog what a legend
Glad to see you cheered up a bit lad! I tried your slap the water tip. WINNER! Just played 9 with it as my only swing thought. 6+ so I hit my 12hcp. Have to say, it was such a relief to only think that and not 100 other things as well. Really helped me hold the lag and get my weight where it should be. Much more penetrating flight and way straighter than normal. Would of beaten my hcp if it wasnt for the new putter 🙂 Cheers!!
When in doubt play the little "knock down safe pitch" thats whats costing you , you know the old chestnut, "Fairways and greens" belief and execution, good luck James, regards
Can you start your next morning round with the following: "another kak day in Africa" ❤
Can clearly see James hasnt been practising his shortgame enough. This other guy has like thousands of more hours behind him.
Been watching your vids sporadically for a few years, you’ve improved no end.
Played Europro/challenge tour back in the early 2010s.. it solely is your short game holding you back.
The grasses in SA are obviously tough unless you have complete faith in your technique, soon get found out under pressure.
It’s all about getting the reps in, you’re long game is probably pretty close to main tour level
Your technique looks decent with those short pitch shots on the chipping area tbf, the hard thing is trusting it with a card in your hand isn’t it
Check me in the back working on the putting because my putting is trash 🥴😂
What club are you using for that chip shot. I tried it with a 54 and everything stay left and short.
