  1. He's spot on … when your at 40 you want to enjoy going to work … but he seems to love it and they love him

  2. My brother texted me today asking if I've seen Welcome To Wrexham. He loves the show. That was a big deal for me because he's had zero interest in the sport since he quit playing at 18. I hope more family and friends get into the show if it means they'll take an interest in the sport at all. Great to see the positive attention Rob & Ryan have brought to the city, club and sport.

  3. ok heres a thing that just struck me .. here is a straight-up guy .. take a moment and compare him
    to t**** or desantos?

  4. The amount of exposure the team is getting is just ridiculous in the best possible way. 😊

  5. Wow, a couple of weeks ago, I think Ben was ready to hang it up, almost for sure. But with Lainton as the other keeper, Ben could conceivably play part time, not need to play every game, because he's kept himself so fit. He can work on his game at home. He gelled in with the club away.

  6. Let's hope people in the US or 'around the world' realise that there are hundreds of 'Wrexhams' who've lost money, survive on community supporters as volunteers, struggled, folded then reformed under new names, amalgamated, had grounds repossessed, where the money from the top level does not filter down ( which seems to be slightly improving ). There are too many to list, with the same story. Hopefully people realise that.

By the way, some other 'oldests' – the oldest football ground used only for football ( not other sports as money clubs originated as multi activity social clubs ) is Maidenhead United ( a town near London ) who are in the National League. Football only since 1870 at their York Road ground.

The oldest football song in existence still sung, is 'On the ball City' of Norwich City FC, written in the ate 1800s for another local team but re-written in 1902, when some clubs amalgamated to create 'Norwich City FC'.
Also, in the same region, ( Norfolk ) Great Yarmouth Town FC. They have the oldest Grandstand still in use today, built in 1888. Their ground was used for athletics, cricket, tennis and cycle track racing. The Grandstand was closed due to failing safety certificates and it took ten years to renovate, due to lack of funds. In their heyday, in lower regional leagues, Yarmouth got crowds up to 8000.

Apart from these 'oldests' hopefully, Wrexhams publicity sparks an interest in the hundreds of other clubs, like Notts County, or many others in all the non-league pyramid but also League Two and One.

  7. Haha Ben's smile when they offered to meet up and do a fozcast. It's like Ben just realised he got US mainstream coverage for his podcast 😂 @ 5:05!

  8. Who would of thought that wrexam would get so much love from the likes of America. I am also glad they failed the first season of the documentary. It only makes it that much sweeter and shows the ups and downs of football/soccer

  9. Genuinely what a great guy Ben Foster is and a credit to football in uk he is, such a humble man, watch him when singing autographs for kids outside ground he is a credit to the sport

  10. I like this channel, but how can you have a player profile on Ben foster and mention every club apart from his time at UTD??? Surely a highlight? 🤷🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

  11. Brilliant guy's, omg ben foster and ryan so funny together, omg even president Lincoln would be a wrexham fan as his ancestors had farm 20 miles away , and another one to mote, thomas jefferson was welsh ancestry and was president when wrexham was formed ,wales had more to making of america than 98% of america no

  12. ''You wearing an under shirt?''
    ''Yeah''
    ''Give me your jersey''
''I can't really say no to you can I?''

At this point, if any bloke in Wrexham caught Ryan in bed with their wife they'd be like: ''Fair enough mate, carry on.''

  13. The plastic Man Utd, Man City, Liverpool etc fans do not understand the joy that fans get at every other level of football.

  14. Ben is totally right about the footage. F1 has been doing this for years, Football needs to step up

  15. I love Foster, I really do. But theres a reason he didnt get a winners medal. I think the press should focus on the lads who really made it happen (pen save aside) over the whole season. It's like Ben gets to come in at the end and gets all the glory? That penalty save really did help though 🙂

  16. If a team I support has a last minute penalty, I worry enough about my own heart rate, never mind the player taking it

  17. I think Ben should stay on as GK coach for Wrexham at the least. Such a positive influence on the game, what a legend!

  18. Do these dumb American presenters even know what Promotion is? Coz in stupid American sports they don't have promotion and relegation

  19. You know, all these new fans have got to stay with it, through the highs and the lows…. it's gonna get tough. League 2 should be ok, maybe a couple seasons there to find their feet, but League 1 is tougher and the Championship will be really tough and expensive. Let's not even talk about the Premiership, but Rob and Ryan are gonna need some financial help, that's for sure. There's gonna be some tears, without doubt. I'm part Welsh and part English, so my Welsh half feels very proud, and hopefully they can climb up through the EFL, they got my support that's for sure. Ben is awesome too… he'll stick around for another season… he's let it slip too many times 🙂

  20. As an American who watches the NFL, and doesn't pay attention to soccer/football, I am now. Let's GO!!!!! Stay with the team bro!
