  1. Sharks better get this shit fixed ASAP cause the some bullshit we were always in the playoffs and it sucks not being in the playoffs to Stanley cup

  2. Honestly, I think everything went wrong for the Sharks this year. They shouldn't have been as bad as they are. And to think that they were worse than the league at one point is also interesting.

I agree with Quinn when you look at publicly available advanced stats, Sharks aren't nearly as bad as the other bottom teams. I would expect them to come out of this draft with a good pick and finish with a better record for sure.

  3. Next season will probably be just as bad. I don't think people fully understand the extent of the problem Greer and Quinn were hired to address. Two decades of icing contenders every season creates a situation where you've traded top prospects for veteran players trying to win now. Your veteran player's contracts slowly get more and more expensive, causing you to be right up against the salary cap with no room to make moves. This rebuild ( even though the Sharks don't like that term) was inevitable. Expect EK65 to be gone, and don't be shocked if you see other remaining big names go as well. I believe in the 2024-2025 season, you'll start to see the turn around. We'll have a young, fast, talented team, with some cap space to add players in the stretch. Then the whole process will start over again with several seasons of success. Hang tough Sharks fans. There will be better days ahead.

  4. The Sharks will follow the Red Wings to a T. Nearly identical historic contender situation as the Sharks had. The rebuild will be much the same. We are looking at at least 8 consecutive seasons without seeing a playoff appearance. Maybe more now that the GM position has changed 3 years into the current playoff drought. Glass half full we got 4 more bad seasons at least. #RemindMeLater
