seriously the balls on this guy to get that done. on 12 he leaves that putt short and says to his caddie his ball was wet–from pat's putt and subsequent celebration. I can think about 20 players outside of liv (liv players have no choice to buy in or not–so they are cool with it) who would have thrown an absolute fit with actual tears, had they had a 10 shot lead cut to 2 and the wheels are falling off, and then you leave yourself a downhill 4ft breaking putt because of beer and thrown drinks on your line. This was a perfect example of what it takes to win a major. He could have complained multiple times. Reminds me of how DJ handled the penalty at the US OPEN in 15 or 16 whenever he won that at Oakmont. A lot of people wouldn't have gotten it in after the 10th hole. And if you watch golf at all, you know if a guy got to 20 under after two days, you best believe others can; good players shot even or over par, so it was always possible he'd shoot around even and it'd be close on the back nine. This was classic how to not fully collapse and get it in. Very professional handling of this all. Happy for him! He's got the best swing and ball striking on LIV, others score better but his technique is so solid it produces good golf shots all the time. golf is more than that obviously, but give brooks those lines and positions and he'd have 7 majors by now.
Tailor Gooch? Winner of one 2nd tier pga event was still strokes better than his fellow LIV golfers, including Kim with a tidy 14 over on a 6900 yard ladies course
Damage was done in the first 2 superb 62s, I suppose it's a hard task to close out being 10 shots clear,do I attack, do I defend, bit of a wobble, but a very deserving winner, congratulations

PGA sux compared to LIV…
Man, he had me scared the whole day!!!! Glad he was able to straighten it out and win it!!!!!
Could you not put ‘Winners highlights’ in the thumbnail?!? Have you heard about spoilers before?
Watching a 10 shot lead evaporate must be scary as hell. Glad he got it done.
Can't believe the Goats couldn't hold on. Need to dump Thomas "Anger Management" Pieters.

Other than a couple of notables, liv golf has a bunch of b to c rated pros, that people would never turn their TV on to watch.
