I was in Gatlinburg for a family wedding in July of 16'. The resort we stayed at had separate buildings with multiple rooms scattered around the resort property. I was in a building with other rooms on top of a hill, and it was recently completed with others still under construction around it. When the fires happened in 16', it destroyed the building our room was in, it destroyed the checking building that also housed the restaurant we ate at in the morning.

hey, i found your channel a couple weeks ago and I love it. Have you uploaded a video of this exact mini golf course before? As I seem to remember watching a video that starts exactly the same in the first few minutes.
This brings back memories! I played this course many times. It's the best. I've never seen bears there, but I have seen them around the area, usually near the trails. Glad y'all made it finally.

Brooks, you mentioned in an earlier video that you could still see some of the former (pre-fire) holes on this course…or was it the other course on the mountain?
Anyway, the next time you play there—and there’s enough light—could you video the part of the course that’s no longer in use, if that makes sense?
That is definitely one of the best scenic places you have played. On the side of a hill under the trees. Gorgeous stuff. If i was a black bear i would have want to be there!:):):):)
