i cant believe i fell for the joyce hype after the Parker fight, think joyce did also thinking he could just walk through zhang. Flat footed, no head movement, so slow hands, leads with his head and telegraphed punches.
Zhang is southpaw, with his lead foot outside of Joyce lead foot, put him in line to land that str8 left all night… same thing Pacquiao did to delahoya…
Why didn’t he go in there with a bit more defence instead of taking punches like a rag doll? Zhang was knackered by round 5, would’ve prob won if he didn’t have a plum for an eye

Joyce reminds me of Foreman, he is slow and steady and can fight the whole of 11 rounds and always throwing crossfire of punches. I think Zhang was lucky not to be dragged into long rounds. His ability to take punches is also legendary. Credits to Zhang for his incredible left hand, the damage is scary.
honestly one of the worst heavyweight performances ive seen . joe joyce looked like he had lead in his gloves and couldnt lift his hands , no speed no combonations . we need some talent we have only once decent heavyweigh tyson and even he picks and chooses his fights , its a joke

Heard alot about Joyce but what I saw wasn't what I was told….looked very sluggish and slow with his movement and punches….Zhang didn't have to do anything special to beat him…..Joyce landed one good shot in 5 and a half rounds….not good enough….even without the black eye he'd of lost.
