  1. For real, I mean don’t European tour players also get world rankings? Just seems like another attempt from the PGA to give liv a bad look

  2. Ya, they should. Trust me, I’m not a fan of LIV but if they are gonna compete in Majors then they should somehow earn World Ranking Points.

  3. Well Liv players don’t play 72 holes… and don’t have to worry about a cut.

  4. Dude, there only a handful of competitive golfers in LIV. You can’t give Bryson wr points for walloping Kevin Na and Bubba. No one thinks they forgot how to play golf, their level of COMPETITION (which is what inherently underlies a rank structure) is trash and their format is trash too. Moreover, they’re getting paid by the Saudi central bank to wage a hostile takeover of a sport. Wake up

  5. No points, not enough players, not enough rounds, shotgun start, no merit to join, it's truly only for exhibition

  6. How about addressing the main argument that they have no qualification system unlike every other tour.

  7. They play 54 holes. How the hell you gonna give WRP for a 54 hole tournament. And how are you gonna scale their points? It's like 5 high level players playing against mediocrity.

  8. They have to figure out how to prorate the points, but yes, they should get points somehow. All in all, LIV is probably equal to Korn Ferry, maybe.

  9. It doesn't matter if they're the best. They decided to play in a league that doesn't get points. If a player retires, they might still be one of the best, but they're CHOOSING not to compete.

  10. They don't meet the criteria, it's literally that simple. It's not a LIV world, it's an OWGR world – LIV decided to set up in a different world, so now they have to live with that. Really not hard to understand.

  11. When LIV was set up they knew exactly what they were doing, they knew what the rules were. They intentionally created a product that doesn’t meet the existing standards to disrupt the ecosystem. You can make up your mind whether that’s good or bad. But he idea that everything has to change because of one series of tournaments is absurd.

  12. LIV definitely needs world ranking points, idk why everyone thought those dudes couldn’t golf anymore just because they went to LIV, Brooks is number 2 in the world at his best, right behind or with Rahm, DJ still has it, Reed, Niemann and Cam Smith, some other young guys who have potential too

  13. It doesn't look weaker. It looks the same.

It's the same format as before.

Nobody has ever questioned the ability of the players, just the format.

Everyone else plays 4 rounds, with qualifiers and cuts. They don't.

How can you adjudge points with 1 completely different from the 20+ other pro tours across the world.

  14. I'm not sure if I'm right about this but I heard any new tour has to have 2 years before players get ranking points. I think give them points but because their field is so much weaker than the other two tge value of points should nit be as high as PGA or DP

  15. If they’re gonna get points it can only be for very high finishes. The idea of Chase Koepka or Andy Ogletree getting OWGR points for an average finish at a no cut no qualification even is ridiculous.

  16. So since LIV decides to not follow the already available criteria for world rankings they don’t get rankings. You can’t just change the criteria because they decided not to follow it.

  17. Just let them play in the pga, do you woke fucks think the rest of the world is perfect, you think Europe is perfect, what about China, Australia, you think they are perfect, o and by the way America ain't perfect either, it's just you woke fucks are so woke you're asleep

  18. Yes but man, compare the LIV Orlando 2 weeks before and the Masters. Orlando looked like exhibition and most of top players looked like they are there because contract says so…the fact is they are not motivated..for us 100mil sound a lot and it is also for LIV players but not thatmuch if you already have 30,40mil and other deals bringing you in 10mil/year.

How do you explain for example Reed, or Phil? Its that they are not motivated playing at LIV its my opinion but there certanly isn't that competitive energy and Phil is very competitive so is Reed and all the other players.
