  1. the most impressive double eagle for me is from T.C Chen in 1985 US Open which is the first one in US Open history. And ironically he also has the first double hit in US Open history (same year) and eventually it cost him the US Open Champion.

  5. An eagle is 2 under par. A double eagle would therefore be 4 under par. Why people like to call albatrosses double eagles baffles me.
