  1. Lmao .. I'm sure BLM will be protesting that not enough black representation, if not 100% black runners …

  2. All the honey-coating accolades and excuses can’t negate the FACT: Kipchoge got his ass whipped!

  3. He did his best even on a bad day in office. And 2 hours and 9 mins is just crazy. Off day or not. Respect.

  4. Dude should have brought some teammates and ran in a rotating pace line. The pace is just barely fast enough for drafting to work.

  5. What or why do you think Kipchoge was gesturing to the pack earlier on in the race, not sure which km he did that, also he seemed nasaly

  6. Kipchoge is the Buddha of running. Later in his years, even Siddhartha Gautama was overshadowed by younger and more charismatic monastic leaders over 2,500 years ago. They diversified Buddha's more liberal teachings by leaving the original sangha temple under Siddhartha to spread a more conservative approach (i.e. total abstinence to eating meat). Though just like Kipchoge, the legacy enshrined lives on longer.

  7. 1:29:50 into the men’s race, Kipchoge misses his water bottle. At almost 75% into the race, this was critical aide. He could’ve easily stopped to grab it and ran his own pace back to the group to let the surges die off.

Why don’t runners carry an emergency gel on them at all times for this exact scenario? Most of their shorts should have a small pocket in the back. This one gel could be worth tens of not hundreds of thousands of dollars…or even an Olympic spot or a medal.

But what the hell do I know, I’m not the 🐐¯_(ツ)_/¯

  8. Man, big E got trashed lol. Didn't think I'd see that happen anytime soon, especially with all of his preparations and goals as of late. I guess the younger generations are coming up and started catching up with him at last.

  9. Kipchoge is out to win all six marathon majors. He has four under his belt, with only Boston and NYC to go. Since he is already 39 years old; this is my prediction, and therefore, what I think he will do: he will run NYC in November, 2023, Boston in April, 2024, and retire after running the 2024 Summer Olympic Marathon.

  10. 🤣Looks like Kipchoge missed the water checkpoint and ended up getting a "hydration penalty"! 😂 But seriously, the Boston Marathon is no joke, with its unpredictable weather and crazy hills. Congrats to Evans Chibet on defending his title and leaving Kipchoge in the dust! 🏃‍♂💨 #BostonMarathon #ChibetFTW
