Bears made a roster move today. They brought back Dante Pettis to be a wide receiver and kick returner. Peter King said the Pittsburgh Steelers is the best spot for troubled defensive tackle Jalen Carter. But Carter’s agent has said Jalen will go in the top 10 and Pittsburgh picks at 17. What if the Steelers called the Bears and wanted to move up to 9? Would you make that move?

Jalen Hurts signed a new deal with the Eagles today to a 5 year, $255 million deal. It’s the highest salary per year in league history. The Cubs play the As tonight in Oakland and the Sox game was postponed due to the bad weather.

Giannis Antetokounmpo’s MRI was clean today and the Bucks are hopeful he will ready to play in game 2 on Wednesday. But Heat guard Tyler Herro was not so lucky. He broke fingers on his left hand and is likely done for the playoffs. Ja Morant may be out for game 2 after landing awkwardly on his wrist.

    I honestly don't think this will happen. However anything can and probably will happen. If this package trade came to us. I would take it.

    Hell no…first off, it's a big position of need for the Bears so why gift it. Secondly, do some draft history and realize that a move like that should entail a swap + their '24 1st rd pick. Bears need to get a blue chip talent on a rookie contract.

    To move back 8 spots, I would take the 17th and our original 2nd round pick. Adding a No. 1 in 2024 makes it a steal!

    Kap, I’d pull the trigger on that trade, or a similar package, in 2 seconds. We need more bodies! Also, I’m ok with DP as WR6. He made a few plays last season.

    Interesting proposal because not only would the bears get their 2nd round pick back but a potential first round pick for next year as well? Interesting. If the deal is right, I'd go for it.

    People say they are giving us 17 no we are swapping that pick. What are they giving us for the #9th pick? A second rounder & a 1st rounder. That's just what should be expected for a top 10 pick!

    There's no way they would get a first-round in 2024 they would just get the 32nd pick and then they would get the 17th this year in exchange for the 9th

    I would be surprised if the Steelers give up their 2024 #1 to move up to 9 but maybe this years and next years #2.

    I'd trade the pick, he is still only one man that will rotate, 2 starters are better than 1, especially if one is an offensive tackle.

    Dante is solid depth, already knows the system, I'm sure there will be competition in camp still at almost every position, saw Eddie Jackson in a pick at the off season work outs, so happy to see him back

    If Carter is there you run to make that pick.
    Warren Sapp talent and a major need for the Bears really bad Defense.
    Unless you get a crazy offer don't overthink it and draft the guy you considered taking with the #1 overall.
    Ryan Pace tried to build a team with a bunch of 3rd and 4th round pick and what happened?
    He set the team back years and that is why they Bears were 3-14 last year.

    If Jalen Carter is there at 9 only a friggin moron would not pick up why the hell would we trade back if Jalen there at 9 .. if he's there draft him don't believe the damn media the kid had two misdemeanors he ain't going to jail and any weight he gained will be lost in camp. Draft him if he's there

    If there is one guy who can keep DT Jalen Carter (UGA) in check and take no BS, it is Steelers HC Mike Tomlin. (Tomlin had to deal with Antonio Brown and other former Steelers players with off the field issues)

    In 9 days from now…..we will all find out if, Steelers GM Omar Khan will give Bears GM Ryan Poles a call on the 26th (the day before) or on the night of the NFL Draft. It should be interesting if the Steelers are truly locked into trading up from #17 to #9. 🤔
