TNF SUCKS. I would much rather see it played on a Friday or Saturday night football. If a team has to travel on a Sunday and Thursday is a grueling prospect for the players and the front office as well.
They should just open a Saturday slate of games. Keep all the games relatively close together. Maybe have two on Monday. That way they can still expand to 18 games, getting flexed to another time wouldn't be as big of a deal, and they would be more spread out so you could watch more of them. Problem solved.
There always seems to be new rules after the Chiefs win the Super Bowl. I don’t think they need Thursday Night football 🏈 just keep it on the weekends. So two games every Thursday?? I’m sure there would be an increased risk of injury to the players themselves with multiple games. Zay Flowers or A T Perry would be a good reciever in Andy Reid’s system.
It’s the NFL caving to Amonson Prime
21 weeks, 3 trimesters, 6 games & 1 bye per trimester. If you play games Sunday through Thursday and have teams going into a bye week play Monday / Tuesday and teams coming off a bye week play Wednesday / Thursday then you are effectively distribuing the extra off-days from the bye week across three separate weeks. This would put half of games on a normal 6 day window between games and the other half on a 7-11 day window between games.
I agree extend Chris Jones but that makes me wonder if LaJarius Sneed is on the trade block 😬 I wouldn't want that, would miss Snees but yeah him and Clyde edwards-Helaire might be on the trade block
Perhaps a bye week then Thursday night FB then next week team plays Thursday night again then bye week. Have it staggered, every team play 2 Thursday night, except one team, which plays 1st & last game of year on Thursday.
Thursday night football sucks anyway… watching football on random pay channels sucks too. How about the free tv channels only please. ESPN is a garbage station and Amazon prime did an even shittier job than them.

Instead of Thursday night football, they should have made it Friday night football. The extra day of rest would do wonders for the players' bodies, and then I dont think you'd have near the push back from the players and the union.
Only one movie to watch while on a deserted island… Boondock saints, Green Street Hooligans, Avengement, The Raid or The Raid 2, Savages, or anything with Denzel Washington.
The move I would undo, is I would have had the Chiefs resign Khalen Saunders instead of letting him go, and therefore we wouldnt have had to sign one of those practice squad/bottom of the roster DTs that we did.
