Excuses for failure
Yes this will be a failure.
City unofficially kings of Europe
Dominate CL Winners
Just don't win it,because
City v UEFA common knowledge,No?😂
It’s a failure if he doesn’t win the champions league absolutely but his whole tenure at city not at all
Travel to a random club in Ghana and the keeper is playing out from the back with full backs coming inside to help out in midfield, that's Guardiola. From the US to Iceland to Russia, every team is using his blueprint. Arteta top of the league, Kompany just won the league, Xavi top of the league, it's not by accident they all learnt from Pep. Sir Alex – Giggs, Neville, Carrick, Whelan, Rooney, all trash coaches, Pep mastered football, ruined it even, the same way Mayweather has with boxing
Lmao ofc not.
But definitely will feel like there could've been more (ucl)
Golf isn’t a sport it’s an active game
No
Lol Laura tried to sneak the whole “grealish is a world beater” God English media is unreal.
Yes, he should be deemed a failure for not winning it with that squad
Pep is a fraud he is a good league coach but a horrible Cl knock out coach. He took over a bayern team who won the treble before and after him. He spend like 1 billion at city and goes out to teams like Spurs, Monace or Lyon.
Ask Chelsea fans if they'd swap 1 champions league for 4 pl trophies. I think they'd take the 4 pl. I'd take another pl trophy and miss out on Champs league again make it 3 in a row and 5 out of 6
Cry more . Pep is a success no matter what .
Was Clough a failure because he didn't win the FA Cup?
If he won it at city, people will say he only won it once.
Everyone goes on about money, sorry but back in the day only United and arsenal had money how's that any different
City fans, saying they'd rather have 3 titles in a row, than the Champions League…well, they would say that wouldn't they? 'cos deep down, another title is much easier to win than their elusive first UCL.
Are Wenger and Mourinho failures because they didnt win the UCL with their respective clubs?
Champions league is about heritage which is why only Real M, AC Milan, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Man U, Juventus and Barcelona have either won it in the last 25 years or appeared in multiple finals. Chelsea broke the mold in 2012 and now have heritage in it but it's usually only the historically big boys who can handle the latter stages of the competition and City so far have proved fragile when it comes to the crunch against those with heritage who can draw on that past champions energy.
He’s always managed clubs with big bank accounts that can break ffp rules whenever they want
I believe they'll win it this season
Pep is the greatest PL manager. He has broken the record for most points in a season. fastest to 100 wins, fastest to 100 home wins. his teams scores the most goals almost every season and concede the fewest goals almost every season. 4 PL trophies in 5 years. How the hell can he be a failure. Only idiots would think that.
Alex's forgeson was failure according to you guys because in his time at man utd he only won 2
They've cheated, so the integrity of every competition they win should be questioned
Guardiola Will win the champions league with City. I think he Will this year. If not he should Just stay and win it next year. I think he should stay at least 3 more years at City.
I think Wrexham can get to league 1.
Pep legacy is cemented anything else he achieves is a bonus. Only the English feel this way because, he proved them wrong every time. He changed the way football is played in England.
Just give him a checkbook, i,m sure he can buy it eventually.
This is not Ligue 1 where the League doesn't matter,, he has achieved More than Wenger in less than half the years Wenger was at Arsenal so Pep is no failure cause he hasn't won the UCL. Remember in all of Man United's existence and dominance they have only three.
Pep, even with a blank cheque book STILL can't reach the Holy Grail of the UCL…maybe City should replace the bottle job with Indiana Jones.
As a City fan and having this discussion yet again with other fans recently, I always say let's go back to when we were struggling in the old 3rd division in 1998 at good old Maine Rd, (Platt Lane Boy)and to where we are now. What we have achieved
since then has been an amazing journey. Obviously a UCL under Pep would be the pinnacle for City, and Pep definitely wants/needs it for his CV. I feel personaly he should have a least 1 with City alla Chelsea, but it has not happened. Pep to leave City without winning a UCL, I think he would feel unfulfilled, in my opinion.
C'mon you Blues let's put Bayern to the sword tonight.
MCFC 🔵💙 always rising. 👍🏾
Pep is an excellent manager, but based on the money spent, he has to win the biggest prize in club football..
Absoulte bull. He can never be a failure esp to anyone on here or in that room. And most other places the mans done more in his life than most would with 100. End of story. Stay safe 👊
Let me get this straight. If Pep fails to win the Champions League… is that a failure to win the Champions League? Duh…. yeah, it is! The media don't half talk dumb sometimes. 🙄
For Guardiola winning Man City the Champions League is his Holy Grail his major quest if you will he’s done it all at the club this is the one thing he hasn’t done for City and while that was an impressive win earlier against Bayern Munich they must be careful not to allow themselves to think they’ve already progressed there’s still another leg to play and although City don’t necessarily have to win the match Bayern will be difficult to beat at the Allianz Arena City’s game plan going into the game should be to avoid conceding early otherwise they’ll be a bit jittery after that
Soon Man City will longer be good and I will relish in the fans of Manchester City’s pain and agony. What New England Patriots fans are going through this very exact moment!
As a city fan we should have already won this cup in 2021 we bottled it
It's not failure for Pep cos he's changed the Prem. It'll be a failure for Man City's ownership
It’s knock out anything can happen. People don’t remember SAF won 2 in 27 years. Prospective
