Gonna let you in on a secret. Golf rules have dictated how fast a ball can come off a club for like 20 years. They literally haven't gotten any faster in that time. Some companies have messed with weights to lower spin but that's it. You aren't gonna use a new 3 wood and hit it further unless yours is +20 years old and/or broken. Don't fall for the hype. Get an older model on sale or buy used if you really need a new club. I have a few year old driver that I hit 390+ with 185+ ball speed so I can kinda tell if there's a difference (there's not).
