Mackenzie Hughes will be the only Canadian to play at The Masters this weekend. The 32-year-old Hamilton-born finished his delayed second round at Augusta National Golf Club on Saturday morning, finishing 1st with a 3-for under 69. Second-round matches were suspended on Friday due to the weather. The cut line for the 87th Masters was 2-over. Hughes reversed the game after 4 to 76 in the opening round on Thursday. This week marks Hughes’ fourth appearance at the Masters Tournament, with his best result being a top 40 finish in 2021. Other Canadians on the field – Mike Weir , Corey Conners and Adam Svensson – all missed the cut.
