How did this Tee Pad get here? Like most nobody thinks of what goes on behind the scenes to give you that sweet turf tee pad your x stepping on. In some cases , city employees install them yet others are brought to you by the sweat of volunteers along side your local disc golf clubs.
I am guilty ….I get it…. we work all week and naturally want to play…who wants to volunteer and do labor on our day off. Jarrette Shoemaker has an open invite for volunteers every Sunday to take on the task of installing turf tees in Bennett’s Creek park Suffolk Va.
Jarrette Shoemaker of Bennett’s Creek Chain Gang DGC takes time aside to show as how to build disc golf turf tee pads. Consider giving back to your local disc golf community in projects such as these.

Cool!
Overall, how much did it cost per tee?
We are looking to do tee pads exactly like this at the university course we just built in Tennessee. Would love to have a list of materials you used and cost. Specifically wondering how much sand it took to do all 18 tee pads. Those tee pads look awesome! Great work!
Turf tee pads suck arse
I'm thinking that there needs to be some drainage as in a base layer that compacts and then sand over that and then compacted while wet with a compactor.

I like the aspect of making a drain.
