I was angry that they gave up their own 2nd round pick. To me Claypool had already devalued to a 3-4 round pick.

I understand you want a home town kid a guy you've watched for years but a tackle that has never succeeded with that short of arms in the nfl isn't a top 10 pick. You take either a shot at huge upside or you get dline help that's it you want peter move down he will probably land in cheese dickville anyways.

Also…same fans pissed about Claypool were ROASTING Poles for not improving the WR room. Can't have it both ways. He heard the criticism, knew he needed help and made a move. Now give it time.
Skoronski reminds me of Alijah Vera Tucker who went to the Jets. He kicked in to guard because of 32 1/8 arms. He was put at tackle last year and did well until his injury. I'd say give him a shot at RT

If Claypool develops in this offense with DJ this offense will be dynamic. They didn't expect much out of Claypool at the point they traded so with camp and with the addition of DJ plus Mooney this is some serious firepower on offense if you compare to the rest of this division…

Skoronski, will be a guard in the NFL and since Poles and Flus preach length Skoronski won't be drafted by the Bears to play tackle.

There is a near ZERO percent chance that the Bears take Peter Skoranski. He most likely wont be the best player on the board at #9 (Gonzales, Carter, PJJ, Witherspoon are all better prospects). He also doesnt fit pole's athletic profile. Why does chicago media spend so much time talking about skoranski. I feel its a lazy pick by the media. Based on history, a player like skoranki will go 17-25. He is not a top 10 prospect.
For chrissake its pronounced "Devin" now dev-ON….He's also not THAT small…10 years ago pre-Legion of BOOM that would've been average size for a CB. Great job otherwise
