I really don’t see what you’re seeing Matt. He is awful, his pass pro is one of the worst I’ve seen, doesn’t have any type of fundamentals he just relies on his size and arm length. Pickett will be in huge trouble if he has to play. Should of kept Jesse Davis or Joe Haeg
How much do combine metrics really apply to a 30 year old player with mileage?

Honestly all 3 Ohio State linemen are in play IMO. If Johnson falls to 17, Jones at 32 or 49 and Wypler will be good but not sure their trigger point IMO.
A decent tentative plan for the trench's is every other year a dline or oline should be drafted with one of the first 2 picks. Every other year. Dline of oline with one of the first 2 picks.
That keeps your trench's strong and leaves you picks for "skill" players. I'm penciling Pickens in for 1500 yards and 15 touchdowns. Najee for 1500 yards and 15 touchdowns.

He may have the measrables, but his resume’ is not impressive.
Matt, IMO, this signing could also indicate that the Steelers’ draft could lean heavily on the defensive side of the ball.
I think there will be a lot of rotation on the line, letting the seasoned players take a break to keep them going 100%.
I love the fact that we now have the potential to go "Jumbo" & play "Bully Ball" in the trenches and run down teams' throats, like the Ravens seem to do every year….I just hope we can get that physical on the D-Line.
