Matt Mask made some predictions about the East vs West 7 supermatches on Engin Terzi’s channel.

-Devon Larratt vs Genadi Kvikvinia.
Genadi is way more of a threat to Devon than Prudnik was. Genadi’s aggression and explosiveness are dangerous for Devon. Devon is a lot smarter, a lot smoother, a lot more technical armwrestler. Devon’s gonna be coming into that match at 285 or 290 pounds. I think the first two rounds are going to be the toughest for Devon and then after that, it’s going to be more convincing for Devon. Genadi may take the first and the second rounds, but Devon will win.

-Dave Chaffee vs Revaz Lutidze.
I don’t know if it’s gonna be tougher for Dave or for Revaz. Revaz might have a little bit more of a stamina than Dave but Dave’s start may be a little more powerful, so I think this one is going to come to later rounds.

-Arif Ertem vs Georgi Dzeranov.
Arif looked pretty dominant in this last match against Kody. It was very impressive but Georgi is a bad dude. Georgi’s got a massive hand. I’m gonna have to give my slight favorite edge to Georgi. We bonded really good after the tournament.

-Vitaly Laletin vs Tobias Sporrong.
Tobias is really starting to be impressive. If this match was to take place in 2 or 3 years from now, I would go with Tobias. As for right now against Vitaly, I don’t think Tobias has quite the strength of Dave Chaffee. Vitaly is very explosive and he can hook and toproll. Vitaly is the heavy favorite on this one because the experience that he has and leverage advantage.

-Kody Merritt vs Alizhan Muratov.
I don’t know much about Muratov, but I have seen his match with Oleg and he’s a dangerous dude. I don’t think there’s many people that can touch Kody in North America with the left arm in that super heavyweight division. Kody’s probably going in there with more than 100 pounds on Muratov.

-Kydyrgali Ongarbaev vs Irakli Zirakashvili.
That’s going to be an interesting one too. Both of them are on fire lately. Both of them are really impressive. I don’t really know what direction that match is gonna go. 50%-50%

-Paul Linn vs Sasho Andreev.
That’s going to be interesting. Paul Linn is the man who deserves to be where he’s at. Sasho is a bad dude that in that 200 pound weight category was right up there being the best. This is probably going to be Paul Linn’s toughest challenge yet. I want to see Paul wins.

-Rob Vigeant aka RVJ vs Zurab Tavberidze.
It’s interesting to see where RVJ is gonna be at, because last time he competed was against Sasho 2 years ago. It looks like he’s been training, he’s always got that big bicep and massive hands. I wonder what kind of shape RVJ is in after being off for as long as he has been.

-Adam Wawrzynski vs Bacho Saginashvili.
Bacho is really young. I don’t think Bacho is gonna beat Adam but anything is possible. Adam is favorite to win that match.

-Brandon Ellsessor vs Davit Samushia.
That’s gonna be a tough one. Brandon has been killing it lately. He’s one of the better armwrestlers in North America for a while. He can pull anywhere on the table, even when he gets his hand bent back he still hangs in, He can pull into a press and in toproll. He’s someone that just doesn’t give up.

-Doug Erlich vs Daniel Procopciuc.
Doug has more leverage advantage. Procopciuc is such a small little dude but that lock that kid has in his arm is impressive. Unless Doug’s able to finish him quick we’re really going to see what kind of stamina Doug has. I’m cheering for Doug on this one but I think Doug’s really gonna have to dig deep on this one.
