    Glückwunsch. Freude ist umso größer, dass überhaupt angekommen wurde. Und überlebt wurde. Das ist nicht selbstverständlich. Diese Art Risiken wären nichts für mich. Denn sie sind benennbar. Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten sehe ich darin, 1. die Kojen gegen Rausfallen zu sichern. Zwei senkrechte aushakbare Seile würden reichen. Rosalin hätte fast ein Auge verloren. Dass ein Boot mal umkippt, gehört dazu. 2. Warum müssen die CO2 Messwerte durch ein haltsbrecherisches Rennen erhoben werden. Das ginge auch anders ? 3. Wenn man mit so einem kleinen Boot zum Point Nemo fährt, sollten es immer zwei Boote zusammen machen. Denn eins kann immer Schwierigkeiten bekommen und dann ist Hilfe unmöglich. Letztes Mal zerbrach eins in einem Kavenzmann. "Des öfteren" gibt es Kollision mit harten Gegenständen (es schwimmen tausende über Bord gegangene Container im Meer herum), andere kollidieren mit Balken oder nicht gemeldeten Booten. Dann gibt es besonders durch die hohe Materialbelastung bei einem Rennen die erhöhte Materialermüdung. Segel zerrissen, Mast kann bei so einem kleinen Boot tatsächlich abbrechen. Wofür das alles ? Wer gewinnt am Ende ? Alle Mannschaften und Boote waren ähnlich stark. Sie hätten es alle verdient. Ausschlaggebend waren letzten Endes Materialerfahrungen und dann sehr deutlich die Windsituation. In diesem Fall vor allem am Ende. Es spricht alles gegen die Geschwindigkeitsraserei und für beschauliches Segeln in der Gruppe. Auch wenn es dann kein Wett"kampf" gegeneinander sondern einer gegen die Natur ist.
