Growing up in new England all I knew in sports was disappointment. Hearing curse of the bambino, Sox always let us down and pats were 2nd ticket in town at best. Finally Brady and pats broke through and something changed, 6 superbowls, 4 world series, and a Stanley cup And NBA championship too. Most fans will never question anything Belichick does, but this was Mac Jones career on the line above all else, I don't blame him for seeking help. Jones went from josh McDaniels one of the top offensive coordinators in the league to two buffoons, Patricia was a mediocre defensive coordinator at best and it's his first time on the offense and Mac should just let him look like the bum who can't figure it out? Not saying Mac will ever be a top 5 -10 QB but atleast give the man a fighting chance with a coach who knows what's going on but bills ego has gotten so big he literally thinks he can win with anyone surrounded by his yes men. Mathew slater is the only current Patriots player who knows what it was like to win and he's a special teams player so. 10 full seasons without Brady and Belichick is a .500 coach WITHOUT Brady, not a small sample size. And two playoff appearances in those 10 years and one happen 2 years ago and the other in 1995. Brady MADE Belichick, don't care what the Belichick Kool aid drinkers say, numbers don't lie. "oh it's a rebuild" funny eagles managed to win a Superbowl tear it all down, new coach, new QB, majority of the team changed and make it back to a Superbowl before Belichick could make a competitive team. The years of winning with a shut down defense and "game manager" QB Trent dilfer, brad Johnson and so on are over , just look at the last 5 superbowls. And I'm sick of hearing about Jimmy fricken gerapelo, dudes #25-32 when ranking starting QBs let alone can't make it past week 5 on the field without injury. Jimmy glass. And if Belichick is still butt hurt about Kraft keeping Brady over Jimmy, well it got pats another two superbowls and it was 6 years ago? Get over it bill. Kraft is seeing pats trend towards the basement while Brady made the playoffs every year without Belichick. Literally having two of his best statistical seasons his first two in Tampa and thinking "bill said tom was about done, bill said he could win with any average QB?" Belichick rode Brady's coat tails to Canton PERIOD and finally some are waking up to that. What other great QB would have put up with bills crap? Manning? Arron Rodgers? Rodgers wouldn't last two full seasons with Belichick before it was a "him or me" conversation.

Last year was awful for Mac Jones. He behaved like a spoiled brat, showing up coaches, and he did NOT play well.

I mean who is their quarterback coach? When I think offensive coordinator, I think of the person who helps you understand the playbook in the play calls. But when I think about how do you throw the ball better? How do you read schemes better? I think quarterback coach for all of that anyways

Not exactly sure comparing LeBron to Mac Jones is fair. Mac only has two years under his belt. LeBron (by some) is considered one of hte best to ever play the game. LeBron has more cred than his coach. Pretty sure Mac Jones hasnt quite gotten to that level yet.

Lmao the idea that Mac Jones played so well last year and took such a big step backward is wild. The dude was mediocre the first year and took a small step backward last year. He got outplayed by Zappy with the same OC. Comparing a player to a coach is even crazier. All the great coaches had great teams. Coaches don't create great players. But, bill is responsible for some really good defenses. It's much harder to find a brand new franchise qb than it is for a qb to move on.

Comparing Mac Jones to LeBron stooooooppppp iiitttt Chris Bruce-odd The Patriots is one of the most successful franchises in NFL and much of that is owed to the fact that Coach Belichick runs the organisation like a military unit, if Brady could fall in line who does Mac Jones think he is to go all Benedict Arnold on the Pats, I hope they get rid of him because he already showing signs that his unbridled ego will be disruptive to the Patriot way moving forward.

It brings up a good question. Would you rather have Mac? Or Zappe and a second 1st round pick? Because you NEED that left tackle. You NEED that shutdown corner (Diggs, Hill, Aaron Roger's in division). And you NEED that #1 Receiver. So is Mac better than Zappe with arguably the best receiver off the board? Plus perhaps the best CB off the board?
