Todd McShay released his latest mock draft and has the Bears taking Northwestern product Peter Skoronski. But many of the people Kap has talked with recently believe that Ryan Poles will want a guy with longer arms for the offensive line. So Kap’s not so sure the Bears will be picking Skoronski. Kap thinks if they go offensive line, they’ll either pick Paris Johnson or Broderick Jones. But Kap keeps hearing they’d like to get an impact player on defense, like Nolan Smith or Lucas Van Ness.
Caitlin Clark won the John Wooden award for being the best player in college basketball. She also gave her opinion about the Angel Reese controversy. Caitlin Clark had no issue and said there was a lot of trash talking from both sides. And she also agreed with Reese that Iowa should not visit the White House as First Lady Jill Biden proposed.
Masters week is this week. Tiger isn’t sure how many more Masters he’ll be able to participate in.

Serious Cubs question. Do Torrens, Mastrobuoni, and Madrigal have any options? Obviously you don't want to waste an option on the guys in Iowa on the 40 man roster, but you have no one on the Cubs bench. MLB needs to really soften the roster rules a bit.

Kap great job as usual but McShay is going to be wrong on both his 1st and 2nd round picks for the Bears maybe even his 3rd choice. No short arm OT is getting picked by a former olineman and given all their key needs on both sides of the trenches drafting an RB w/their 2nd pick borders on the absurd.
McShay is like Tannenbaum and many other NFL commentators who are always desperately looking for a way to stay relevant so they put out a different perspective than the most popular and pragmatic one and provide questionable reasoning to back up their decision that's based more on personal bias (which is thus based more on ego) than solid reasoning. Paris over Skoronski.

I hope the heck Todd McShay is wrong that is not the guy for us he's projected as a guard we need to tackle we have a lot of choices at guard in the later rounds would be a wasted pick at 9 so I hope he doesn't do it besides that his family is a Packers family and if he would turn out to be good when is contract came up he'd want to leave and go to the Packers because that's where his grandfather played so I say nooooooo
I want them to take that running back from Texas he's a hell of a playmaker and we having him for 5 years and then franchising tag him for two more years then who knows what would happen after that
PJ is best choice in my opinion, think a trade back and then take whoever is left.
We're now 22 days away from the NFL Draft, so we'll see what Ryan Poles & company have up their sleeves at 9.
