Neil Treacy is joined by Bernard Jackman and Eddie O’Sullivan to look over the big rugby news of the week.

The panel give their take on Ireland’s TikTok Women’s Six Nations defeat to Wales, and analyse how Greg McWilliams’ side can try bridge the gap in size and power between them and their opposition.

We also look ahead to this week’s Heineken Champions Cup Round of 16 games, as Leinster host Ulster, and Munster travel to the Sharks.

Eddie and Bernard discuss Connacht’s great recent form, and how Andy Friend is leaving the province in a healthy state this summer.

And we also talk about the surprise news from Scotland, where Stuart Hogg has confirmed he will retire at the end of the 2023 Rugby World Cup.

  1. Glad Andy friend isn't leaving on a negative it kind of felt it was going that way for awhile, he's been a great stabilising presence in the post lamb sense. Brought back the community feel to the squad and clearly has an eye for talent

  2. Dear Eddie, when Ulster beat Leinster in RDS – 4 matches ago, Ulster were full strength – Leinster had 2 team, next Saturday ‘the boys are back in blue’ 💙🏉💙 Leinster front 5 to strangle Ulster pack, pragmatic win by 15 💪👌

  3. Sexton choosing not to play for Leinster for the rest of the season doesn't mean Byrne will suddenly get more minutes. Leinster without Kelleher, McCarthy, Doris, Sexton, Ringrose and Keenan could easily lose to Ulster this weekend.
Prioritising a week on the piss over getting fit for Leinster sends a really bad message about the group that are with Ireland

  4. I'd love to see the Irish women's team come on and compete. I really enjoyed following the women's world Cup last year despite Irelands absence. It feels like the women's game has really come on, but Ireland have been left behind a bit. Look at the lift the Black Ferns gave to NZ and the game last year. It was an amazing sporting event.
