The rumor mill is swirling after the #NFLCombine regarding the #ChicagoBears and the #1 pick. #NFL Network’s #RichEisen reported today that the Bears are down the road significantly in a blockbuster trade for the top pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. Some GM’s believe it will be from a team near or outside the bottom of the Top 10. It appears for now that the #HoustonTexans will not trade up to the top spot, while some believe the #Colts could still be in play, though they prefer #CJStroud. So, it could happen sooner or later.
The free agent carousel saw its 1st QB fall off the board. #DerekCarr is signing with the #NewOrleansSaints. The #Giants and Daniel Jones are nearing an extension and the #Ravens will use the exclusive franchise tag on Lamar Jackson, allowing he and his agent to seek a deal with a new team.
The #ChicagoBulls are off and are just 11-22 in high leverage games, one of the worst teams in the NBA.
