  1. Negative if a LIV player wins, Augusta could decide next year to ban LIV players, well maybe to pass the green jacket is all.

  2. yes I don't know why you would even question their right to play it's only the pga being bloody minded and spoilt

  3. Yes, the top ranked Liv players should be in the Majors .
If that means the Majors revisiting their criteria , so be it – although they should have done that months ago, we should not be talking about it mid season.

  4. You’re dreaming if you think those guys are ever going to play the pga again 😂😂😂 what a stupid thing to say 😂

  5. Will be interesting to see how LIV players get on at the Masters after basically playing uncompetitive golf for the last year. No cut and guaranteed pay outs is not Pro golf in my eyes.

  6. What kind of idiot would want to break the contract? You're laughing all the way to the bank with even the lowest ranked of the 48 players on LIV. Ten times better than you'd do on the PGAT and 100 time better that the fourth division European tour.

  7. Rickie Fowler turnes down probably at least 80-120 million contract (2x-3x his net worth) because he still believe in winning a Major so he should get an invite..i hope 2 things happen this year or 2…Rory wrap his Grand Slam and Rickie wins a Major..

Then on the other hand you can't blame players to sign that contracts, especially the 50yolds also DJ is pass his prime probably.. Cam and Bryson were surprise but to have that kind of money guaranteed again can't blaim them. Only problem is most of them won't get money upfront and inflation rates are highest in last 50 years with danger of total $ devaluation.

  8. I'm not against LIV at all. I can't see why it angers so many either. What wasn't clear at the start however, is that even though there is no tournament cut line, there seems to be a career cut line instead. If you no longer make the grade and they bin you, are you released from your contract? If not, do players have to sit on their hands for the duration of their contracts? Does that even matter when you've been paid 20 + million anyway?

  9. A signing bonus is not the same thing and the amount of the contract. For example you said phil got half of his contract up front, that 100M would be his signing bonus.

  10. Can we talk more about the "sign on fee"? In a lot of US sports that is an amount given up front that comes out of their overall potential contract earnings. It's looked at as a bonus. Is LIV's definition different?

  11. So if they are able to play PGA events, why can’t the pga guys pick and choose to play LIV events. Exactly, hypothetically approach by liv, you joined that tour and gave up the PGA tour, end of story.

  12. There’s only about 5 or 6 players in LIV that have a chance to win a major. The heckling will be overwhelming so in reality about 2 have the mental toughness to win in that environment. LIV only loses money and everything points to to a continuing losing venture. Saudis will eventually pull the plug on this entire thing.

  13. If you think they will invite liv players not already exempt you should let someone with a brain to do your videos. Rediculas statement.

  14. Enjoy the pod cast as always.a few questions. Do you KNOW what the actual signing on amounts were? Do you know what the termination clauses stipulate? I dought if any court would uphold contract terms requiring a penalty in excess of the original value of the contract unless harm to the litigating party can be proved. I am no lawyer but would welcome other views.
