The Masters 2023 drops BOMBSHELL Golf World Shocked!

Welcome Back To @24Golf

The Masters Golf Tournament is sometimes described as “Disneyland for Adults.” Many people will only make it once in their lifetime, making it the ultimate bucket list event. Here’s how to make the most of your time in Augusta with our Masters tips. The Masters is always played in Augusta, Georgia at the Augusta National Golf Club. It is the only one of the four major golf tournaments that does not rotate venues. In a blow to the men’s professional golf establishment PGA Tour and DP World (European) Tour Augusta National Golf Club has invited eligible members of the breakaway LIV Golf circuit to the Masters that will be played from April 6 to 9. The organizers at Augusta National have confirmed that LIV golfers will be allowed to participate in “The Masters” in April 2023. While they are unhappy with the recent developments, the organizers wish to respect the tradition of bringing together eminent golfers in one place. Everyone who meets the current criteria will be sent an invitation. Old champions like Johnson, Reed, Garcia, Watson, Schwartzel and Mickelson will be at The Masters in April. LIV golfers like Smith, DeChambeau and Koepka would qualify for the eligibility criteria as they have won a major in the last five years. Martin Slumbers, R&A Chief Executive, ruled out the possibility of banning LIV players but has reserved the right to alter the championship’s eligibility criteria. 1. It’s all good by me but I do hope PGA player wins this year’s tournament, a LIV win will almost certainly mean nothing other than interfering with world rankings

  2. Don't care, as the players who went to LIV went for large sums of money and only wanted to play the tournaments with the biggest purse.

  3. I thought that all past winners are automatically invited to play. There are some who have joined the LIV tour who are mentioned as those who will be invited, as if to say, they would not be invited back unless specifically invited by The Masters Board. Interesting.

  4. LIV should change from 54 to 72 holes so that the players can obtain world ranking points.

  5. No bombshell, all
Good and normal news, that's why the Masters is the best Major for many reasons.
    Golf has won👍🏻🏌️‍♂️

  6. Sensible and correct decision, as far as the Feud between LIV and the PGA, Competition is a good thing, and it will be a kick up the backside for the PGA to up their game and to improve tournaments, and they should not be using top players as pawns in there petty war against LIV. If the PGA do a good job they won’t need to be looking over their shoulder at any competitors

  7. Good for them, with a diminished field the tournament would have suffered, now it adds to it, liv vs pga players

  8. I think it’s great that the top 50 players are going to be able to play no matter what league they play in. It has no bearing on the tournament

  9. Showing a picture of Tom Kite and calling him Tom Watson is maybe the worst golf mistake I have ever seen.

  10. SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO PLAY AS THEY ARE NOT PGA PLAYERS THEY BROKE AWAY COULD SEE FIREWORKS as the world turns give them an inch and da da

  11. Not a fan of Liv but this was the correct decision IMO. It will certainly be the most compelling golf tournament since the Liv split.

  12. Best players should be allow to play in the most prestigious tournament

  13. The picture of Tom Watson is NOT Tom Watson the golfer. This video image of Tom Watson is Tom Watson The Lord Watson of Wyre Forest. Who put this video together obviously doesn’t know much about golf.

  14. A country's bad behavior should not be allowed to be bullied down on the players….we the spectators want to see the best ❤
