  1. FIA playing with fire……not helping the sport, May end up with strike actions at some stage 😩

  2. FFS! I get not everyone gets excited about FP1 FP2 and FP3 – but what circuit racing motorsport (2 3 or 4 wheels) doesn't have a free practice session. If F1 wasn't on a subscriber service and it was free to watch a free practice session, I most defenitely would! Not sure about the increase in cost cap either…it a hard balance, increase it too much – bigger teams get a big advantage. FIA should just let the current rules settle for a few years and then make a choice.

  3. I’m not being funny but saying the public don’t like it?
People don’t go to watch football practice or a band practice or any other type of practice so the short answer is don’t got to free practice if your not interested simple, but the teams still need to do it. Its not a practice for the public’s benefit anyway.

  4. "Redbull duly punished" by keeping the 2021 constructors' championship, keeping whatever tech advancements they've achieved in 2021 by cheating, basically, AND being gifted the drivers' championship in the final race, to top it off? You cheat on an exam, you fail plus you get expelled, depending on the school. It looks like the concept of "too big to fail" applies to sport as well.

  5. Drivers being ignored = drivers striking. No friday practice is a safety hazard since it means less time to re-familiarize the driver to the track. More sprints on top of more main races in ever-quicker cars is going to push driver fitness and conditioning OVER the edge, someone is going to have a broken neck from it.

  6. Raising the cost cap is great if you want to spend more than 140 million, but it doesn’t help teams that can only spend 120 million in the first place!!

  7. FiA keeps changing the rules as this seems to be in Red Bull's favour. And so they change the 2021 F1title championship back to the rightful winner Sir Lewis, and give him is 8th title, and reduce Max's to one as the FiA have admitted at least twice they was at fault.

  8. Cancelling free practice is absolute stupidity, it can prevent a serious accident even saving a LIFE. I think more free practice is necessary for the fine tuning of the F1 cars both in reliability and safety.

  9. Everything in here other than upping the cost here sounds more like they're moving towards a driver championship only instead of an engineering competition that involves racing.
If all the teams have the same technology, manpower, and can reach the cost cap then every car will be the same so only the drivers matter, making it another 'X' car racing series.

  10. IMHO F1 is turning into Love Island on wheels. Disgusting. I hope there are still people who still want to watch REAL sportsmanship.

  11. Next they will cancel qualifying and use the drivers standings to determine the grid order
