Steve – I have no sense/feeling of pushing my feet in the opposite direction of my body motion. I know science says this is happening, but I get no or very little sensation of this foot force. Is this normal?

As I see it we move our bodies and exert forces on things around us, be it golf clubs or the surface of the Earth. All this talk about ground forces seems unnecessary, misleading and even confusing. But your videos are of course entertaining and helpful, thanks a lot!

It seems the ground forces for the McIlroy "squat and jump" are different from those for the Austin lateral belly button shift and turn. Different ground forces for different pivots.
Now I need to try to change the muscle memory. Thanks for the info!
