If you want to become a better golfer you simply have to be developing your ball striking, it’s the number one skill that separates the good from the poor
Good ball striking involves a number of steps, but in this video I break those down and give you a simple set of steps that you can follow to develop and improve this key skill, and every single golfer needs to know this ball striking move
Towards the end of the video I also cover a really key topic that hardly ever gets discussed but it could be the missing piece you are looking for

Yo!
I was that golfer!
I look the grass in front of golf ball, about 1.5 inches after the ball.
Well done Chris 👏 😊
Great video. Everything a beginner needs to get them started just hitting the ball!
5:28 thx for this tipp, but where exactly do you look just after the ball or behind it
Great video Chris! I think it's rare that instructors remember to mention how important it is to keep the wrists loose for creating lag and how a loose grip pressure can help achieve that. Well done sir.
Excellent video very helpful
Just want to say thank you you video's have help me so much in my golf journey.
Thanks Chris, So clear simple an precise, I'm 14hcap and really appreciate this video cheers from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺
I'm a single digit handicap with a pretty solid swing that used to have a lot of issues with getting my low point in front of the ball and getting some divots rather then at or behind the ball and no divots ever. Which was weird because I found that during practice swings with no ball my low point was most of the time well out in front and ahead of where the ball would be at address – which confused me as to how my practice swings could be so good but swings hitting the ball so bad. I ultimately found that was because when I was swinging actually hitting a ball that focusing on the top of the ball was causing me to move my low point back to the ball, which is why my no-ball practice swings were always so good with the low point out front (since I didn't have a ball to focus on and stare at).
After changing to looking in front of the ball like he said in this video my ball striking improved exponentially.
